Hey, I'm a relatively new runner, 16, and I've noticed something over the past few weeks.
I get real tired, real fast. After only half a mile at 7:30/mile, pulse is already near max at about 200, and im breathing real heavy. At about 8 minutes I start to get tunnel vision. I havn't seen much improvement over 2 weeks, and I was wondering if this is something that could be fixed with more intensive conditioning (like running till I almost puke), or should I be worried?

Re: Cardio/Running Question
Take it more conservatively dude.
Try this.
Walk fairly moderately for 2 minutes 50 seconds, then Jog for 10 seconds. This is a cycle. Do 10 cycles, so you move for 30 minutes in total.
Do 5 cycles a week, doing 3 days, 1 off, 2 days 1 off, so you're not pushing yourself 5 days straight.
In week 2, walk for 2 minutes 40 seconds, jog for 20 seconds, 10 of those cycles making up your 30 minutes.
Week 3, walk for 2 minutes 30 seconds, jog for 30 seconds, 10 of those cycles making up your 30 minutes.
See a pattern emerging?
Try that and hopefully in around 17-18 weeks you'll be jogging 30 minutes non-stop .

Re: Cardio/Running Question
Good explanation Boss man and thanks for replying.
Re: Cardio/Running Question
Also make sure you have eaten recently. I have found eating something light, like a banana or some greek yogurt, about an hour or half an hour before gives me more energy to do runs. I used to have the same problem because I had not eaten for like hours before runs. I am not much faster, so I want to give Boss Man's plan a try! But I did find it helped me a little, so to not be so light headed during runs.
