Looking for a gym buddy.

Post by Maximus_Jones »

Hi folks,

I'm a newbie to the gym, having just had surgery on ankles to feet (hyprocure, if you're interested..).

This is probably the wrong place to post this, but I'm looking for a gym buddy. I live in Kew and go to Kew Recreation Centre, and I need someone to push me further. I currently do weight training with a PT once a week, and I'm trying to do cardio twice a week, but the motivation just isn't there.

If anyone is nearby and can help out, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

It's good that you want a gym buddy but if you can't find someone to exercise with you, start playing music or an exercise video while working out. You may just have to work at deriving more fun and motivation from working out alone with no music in the background. The bottom line is that you must stay in shape. Besides, once you get into the habit of exercising, you will get a kick out of becoming fit in addition to your body releasing endorphins that make you feel a lot better.
