Ok I'm sorry I know this has prob been asked but couldn't find it. wife is looking at doing the zone diet to lose weight. I was figuring up how many blocks she needs. At her weight it said 11 daily blocks of each. Thus a 3-3-1-3-1 meal snack layout. Is that set for losing weight or do we need to set that down some to lose weight?

I have a limited understanding of this system, but how many of those blocks are lised as carbs fat and protein, because I think when it's a 3 block meal, there's a block of each, but when it's a one block meal there's just a block of protein and no carbs or fat, would I be remembering this correctly?
I think the standard calorie intake per block is 30g protein, (120 calories), 30g carbs, (120 calories), 15g fats, (135 calories), but again I am a bit sketchy on some of the detail.
