Wow girl... Keep it up! Your dedication & progression are inspiring

Re: C-tina's work out blog!
That's one of the things I admire about you these days. You are starting to own your own body and mind. Your old way of life doesn't do that for you and you're getting more beautiful by the week
.
You never fail to make me proud of you and it's been a long journey of major ups and downs.
You've been talking about this for nearly 4 years now and the last 12-18 months, has probably been the best time for you now, because after well over 2 years of constant getting somewhere only to fall back and allow your emotions to undo a lot of what you worked for, you're now in many ways able to progress better an have a lot more forward momentum and I am so happy for you, because you are an absolute diamond Christina and whatever happens in your future, you've mad an unforgettable impact on life and you're just an ordinary Lady doing beyond ordinary things.
WELL DONE

Re: C-tina's work out blog!
Hello everyone! It has been a while since I have made any posts on here. I just had warrior dash race yesterday and I cant believe how well i had done! it felt amazing to accomplish something so physically and mentally challenging! I have a couple photos but the site will posting some of the pro pics hopefully by the first of august! the obstacles were crazy especially height wise. The old me would of been too scared to of even tried and would of just walked around. The picture below is race time, the person under me is last place. I had used photo program to copy from the site. I am so proud of self!

i think this might be getting cut off so total race time was 1:03:17.40 pace 19.36 mins per mile.
last place was 3:28:14.85 64:28min per. mile and come to find out she is a friend of one friends, and her body is much leaner than mine. Proof, don't judge a book by its cover!

Thank you boss man! The course was crazy! arms were so sore yesterday! It was all upper body strength. So many rope walls...I never in wildest dreams thought I would of done it. Not once did I doubt myself when I was out there, I just did it! God It felt great! I hope to have at least one good shot from the pics taken at the event from the photographers. Couple days, crossing fingers!

Re: C-tina's work out blog!
It has been very long since I have posted and I want to apologize to followers. I have been struggling with health issues even the morning of warrior dash I went into urgent care and was advised not to run but I did it anyways. That morning I discovered I had a bacterial infection at the back of throat. It looked like white puss bubbles were growing. When I swallowed it felt like I was eating glass. It took almost 3 was for that to go away. Then I messed up whole left foot and sprained the ankle. toes were purple, the top of foot had bumps because of the tendons popping, the ankle was swollen and the arch of foot felt like I couldn't put pressure on it to flatten it. I was told It will 8 months before that is healed and that took place in either late August or early September. The past month I have been trying to over come pneumonia. It has been one thing after the other. Since I messed up foot I have been doing yoga to help strengthen it. I will say I was really depressed for a while after it happened bc of being so sick and the moment I fell to the floor from foot...I lid there and cried. Not bc of pain but bc of the fear of everything I worked so hard for was slowly going away. I felt like giving up. After 15 minutes I got up, hopped up the stairs and walked a long distance to the emergency center at the hospital since there was no closer parking. When I got home late that nite I told myself, I was able to do that, and push myself this past yr...I'm not done fighting. So when the doctor said I could start yoga I did. foot still hurts every morning and late at nite but it's improving. I bought this zumba rush game for the kinect and I can't believe how much I'm sweating from it! It gives me the intensity I need and doesn't hurt foot at all. Not to mention it's a lot of fun. arms and stomach hurt, no pain no gain lol. I hope by spring I will be able to run again. I plan to sign up for races again. I know I will get there. Small steps but it will happen. There was a quote I read today and it hit home. "Hardships often prepare ordinary people for extraordinary destinies." With everything I have been through so far and what I have done to make current achievements I will say it has built character and has made me much stronger. I hope that for those who read this post will tell themselves that no matter how difficult your situation maybe now, it will not improve unless you put up a fight and fight for u. You can do this just like I can. Not one person is perfect, I know I have roller coaster moments but ur not a failure unless you quit trying. I have been stuck at 225 since race due to the set backs but a positive is nothing has been gained. I am still 4 dress sizes down. Right now I am not even focused on the weight just the over health bc of being sick. Every little achievement such as forcing a workout or walking after work instead of the bus, is a stepping stone to a better me. I will start getting back to posting on here periodically. Miss followers and the support from all of you as well. This is come back post!

Re: C-tina's work out blog!
Thank you so very much! I know, I have been struggling on the food. Finding the time to cook. All body wants to do after work and school is sleep. So I recently started using a slow cooker for the first time. I have to say, I wish I would of done this a long time ago! Tomorrow I will be doing broccoli cheese soup. Yummmmmm. On thanksgiving I didn't even over eat or have seconds. Felt no desire to do so. I was proud of that.musculArgirl2 wrote:Sorry to hear all that's happened!!
