Quoting External Content

Post by Boss Man »

Just to let people know, I have in the past removed posts by suspected spammers, that have included plagiarised content from external sites and banned such people, many of whom were using obviously false signup details anyway.

From now on members doing this are requested to provide links to or references to, the externally sourced content, or, depending on the circumstances, exclusion may be enforced on certain members, as making other peoples content look like yours is dishonest and it could also invite trouble from the content owners and affect google listings, which is obviously not good for our forum activity levels.

This is not designed to limit what you post or your freedom of speech, it's for everyone's good, not least to avoid confusion about the understanding on the matter of the person posting the external content.

Many thanks
