Hi Lydia, good to talk to you,.
What kind of exercise have you been doing if any and what kind of eating plan have you been using?
Bear in mind of course, if you have been weight training you may have gained a bit of muscle around the thigh area, which is no bad thing, but of course you may have not lost some water weight depending on how salt rich your eating plan has been, as excess salt can cause water retention and also edema, which is fluid retention in the legs.
Some people also store fat on the hip / thigh area, moreso than some people do, so therefore it figures it could take a little longer for it to shift than fat on other areas of the body.
You say you have been doing this for a few weeks, so how long has it been happening, as some people can knee-jerk after 4-6 weeks, when they don't initial progress is good enough, but for some people progress can be slower than others and also exercise and diet changes for some may have been implemented in a way that creates a below average level of progress and their plans may need tweaking again to boost what they are doing.
Please don't get discouraged, as you are not the first person ot have felt like that and I have seen a numbef of people over the years coming here and saying similar things to you, so you're not alone in your concerns, but please do fill me in on what exactly you have been doing and I will be happy to assist however I erasonably can.
Have a great day and best wishes to you .
