why does this website tell me that I need to consume 2500 calories per day. It is absolutely ridiculous. I tried playing with different statistics and that number remains the same.

Please advise.

Ridiculous?? Go find a site that tells you to starve yourself then and never see the results you want.

Or take the good advice and ask sensible questions.

That depends on what your goal is. You haven't given us any other information to help you.

All you have to do is keep track of the calories your eating daily then subtract 500 calories from that total and you will lose given you are choosing to eat the right kind of foods. Then when you plateau and you wanna lose more weight take off another 500 and so on. Don't get caught up in the numbers.

There could be danger though that in time, the individual cuts too low doing that, or am I interpreting your comment a little wrongly?
