Hi All -
I was at the end of a 4 week program and decided i wanted to work in some exercises that i might have neglected because the plan did not call for them. What happened was I gained further appreciation for the deadlift. It had been atleast 1 month since i last made deadlifts part of routine and todays workout re-ignited passion for them. there simply is no better exercise because it just works so many different muscle groups. If you have a chance, check out blog on deadlifts today at http://distinctfitness.blogspot.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; If i was going to construct a plan for how to gain strength while leaning up and getting in overall better physical condition, i would start with the deadlift. let me know what you think.

I love deads. I actually hate them because they are so tough, but because of that I love them. Make sense?

Yes; bascially it means you're a bit sick in the head, but in a good way

if liking deadlifts is wrong, then I don't want to be right!
Just wish thumb would heal up so I can do them properly

Do you live somewhere with very wide doors? I'm just thinking that with such an inflated sense of pride like that, you'd need them ha hascottgaran wrote:Yes, this is probably true! That's why you guy's love me so much!

Yes, i actually had to cut wholes in the walls at the door frames to allow head to go through. Alas, the price of perfection!
