I don't care anymore about having six pack abs

if you know Fedor Emelianenko so you know what I'm talking about .... having six pack abs doesn't mean you're athletic :idea:

It all comes down to what your fitness goals are. If you want a six-pack then you'll have to work for it. If you have no desire whatsoever, then it's not a big deal. Some people lift to build muscle to look good, others build muscle to perform better at sports or other physical activities. Lifting weights and exercising is a personal thing, that's why I always keep an open mind when I see people doing things that don't quite make sense to me in the gym. It's all about what works for you and what YOU want.

Great looking abs aren't easy to come by so do not forget about upper ab exercises. Crunches won't get you there, a variety of exercises will though.

I am here to lose some serious weight and to be honest, six pack abs is secret desire :oops: From an amateur's perspective, this is how I see it. Six pack abs may not be the best sign to judge how healthy a person is but getting them need some serious workout. It's really hard and need long term commitment. If you seriously stick to a diet/workout program and achieve it, you will be healthier as you adopted a healthier workout/diet plan.

Things maybe different for experts or those who are successful at maintaining their body weight but I love them and would love to have them some day!

I love how you said it! Perfect and has made day knowing that we all have different goals. I need to stop comparing myself to others when goal are different. Thanks!
