Wow, I lost track of this website.
Well, a year later I'm at 237lbs and 26% (from an Omron handheld unit). Pretty pathetic at barely 2.5lbs a month, but it adds up slowly lol. When I stick to it 100% I lose about 1.5-2.5lbs/week...
I did strain left rotator back at the end of February just before birthday, so that was pretty lame. I just got back to lifting in the second week of June. In the three months I was off lifting and eating junkier food (but still had lots of chicken, egg whites, peas and broccoli) I gained back 6lbs.
I got sick in early November after a night out drinking (friends birthday) and making out with this woman. I haven't drank anything since and haven't had a cold or sniffles since then.
I did cut out the milk in the post-workout shake (and extra glutamine). I was using maltodextrin, then dextrose...now I just have a piece of fresh fruit with the water/whey shake. In fact, I don't really drink milk but once a week or so I might have a glass with a sweet of some kind. I still use caffeine pre-workout along with some L-Arginine, though I'm thinking of trying citrullane malate instead of the arginine.
I cut out the whole wheat breads, tortillas, etc. I stick with organic oats and brown rice, sweet potatoes and red potatoes for complex carbs. I try to buy mostly organic fruits and veggies and try to eat broccoli, peas or spinach with every meal. I wish I had the budget for organic chicken/eggs and grass fed beef...I also eat organic non-fat yogurt and some cottage cheese. I've watched quite a few documentaries and read about how messed up modern food production is, interesting. Besides a tasty pizza, I very rarely eat fast food now...it grosses me out.
