Did you get some rain today Lynne? I was talking to somone from Texas for job and she was saying they did and that they hadn't got rain in a long time. Don't know if she was by the fires.

No we haven't had any rain yet. There is a chance of it in the next few days. Temps have been 105 and 106 degrees again. :? But it may be cooling down to the 90's today. :mrgreen:

When i checked the temps this morning thermometer in car said 35 degrees. :shock:

trade ya!!
Yesterday evening (6:30 p.m.) it was 102 degrees when I did trail run/bike workout. :shock:
I would LOVE to feel 35 degree weather right now!

Yeah i don't blame you. i don't mind it hot for a while but i can see getting tired of it pretty quick too. We are actually have colder than normal weather right now.

todays workout:

1 mile treadmill w/u run
2 mile outdoor trail run

1 x 12 x 40lb DB standing military press
2 x 12 x 50lb DB squats
2 x 12 x 2 x 25lb DB row
seems like I did more than that, can't remember everything now. :?

noticed some new definition and "cut" areas in upper arms today. :D
and.. jeans are baggy in the butt and legs - YES!!

the scale is still not friend - but that is okay, I can see some changes and i feel really strong and healthy. :mrgreen:

Todays workout:

9 mile road bike ride
2 mile road run

30 crunches
3 x 10 oblique bike crunch
2 x 10 wide pushups
2 x 10 tri-cep dips
2 x 12 x 2 step ups

now i'm off to shower and get to the grocery store, have a great day people!! :mrgreen:

4.35 mile treadmill run with intervals pickups in speed
5.0 mph / 7.0 mph

:shock: You're nuts to do that on your lunch hour! I would need an extra hour just for a shower and to get myself ready again :lol:

Thanks Joc! The 5K was fun. I'm looking forward to more coming up soon.

Todays workout:

1.5 mile elliptical / 2.0 mile outdoor trail run.
When I first went to the trail I saw a couple running, and thought, man they look fast I better let them pass before I start..so i did, and within a few minutes I was passing their butts!!! hahaha YES!! :lol: :mrgreen:

Todays a.m. workout:

4 mile road run. Kept a good pace, averaging about 1 minute faster per mile than I was just a few months ago. :D

plan on doing a upper body BW workout this evening.

It's really nice to see you putting all this extra stuff in, riding in your lunch hour etc, very motivational, you go girl :D
