musculargirl wrote:How are the meals coming corina?? Your a brave girl having chicken that much! I know some people really like it and if you do, i guess it would be pretty easy to have it all the time. I like it but I don't eat it everyday and i couldn't eat it every meal!! :) I do have a lean beef taco every day though with a low carb tortilla shell. Deliciosa!!
Hi Musculargirl-

I do like chicken so I can eat it a lot. I have been in California and Oregon the past 9 days so I haven't been on the plan, back now and will start tomorrow (have to shop :) ). I like turkey loin too you can prepare it the same way you would pork but it is more delicate so you use less seasonings. I have lost weight I can feel it but that is because I was eating very little and on the run for all week. Not good though because I was only eating one proper meal a day. Nokie I was in the Mission so of course that meal was a burrito (regular, no cheese, sour creams....) rice, beans, salsa and pork.

Well you've identified some failings in your eating habits, so hopefully you can work on changing that.

What you haven't done is allowed that to affect you much, as you're still logging things and still working on positive change, so be proud of not letting it get on top of you and keep on pushing.

You've had one week or so, where things got a little on top of you so to speak, but you ARE capable of turning things back into a positive.

Just keep believing yeah and good luck.

Day Two:

Well yesterday didn't end as well as it started.

Had frosted animal cookie and chips :(. But everyday is a new beginning!

Breakfast

2 egg whites with mushrooms, garlic, onion and cilantro
3 strawberries
16 oz decaf with stevia and nondairy creamer
supplements: fish oil with omega three, b complex, thyroid complex, powerboost with c (coming down with a cold)
16 oz water

2 oz turkey sausage
3 strawberries

33 oz water

Lunch

2 oz shrimp
2 cups spinach salad with nuts and pineapple
1/2 cup roasted red and sweet potatoes and roasted beets

16 oz water

Afternoon

2 oz shrimp
1/2 cup roasted red and sweet potatoes and roasted beets

33 oz water

Dinner

2 oz turkey sausage
1/2 cup brown rice
1 cup asparagus
1 cup spinach salad with nuts and pineapple

30 minutes of Wii Yoga

Last meal

some kind of fruit

IT IS SO HARD TO FORCE YOURSELF TO DRINK WATER WHEN YOU DON'T FEEL THIRTSY!!!!!!!!!!!!! 100 OZ IS IMPOSSIBLE BUT EVEN 88 OZ IS SUPER HARD FOR ME

Also a couple of days off the high fats and carb loaded food and I feel better, more alert. I think the B complex helps with altertness as well. I was reading the health benefits of the food I have been eating and am amazed at how many benefits are in whole foods, particualarly fruits, veggies and lean potiens. For instance did you all know that eating pineapple with protein helps your body aborb the potein better? Or beet help with depression and blood sugar levels? Pretty intersting information give food a whole new prespective...I also ready how bad refined sugar is for your body  one doctor said it should be classified as a poisen it is so harmful.

I've been going up and down really for quite a while so i know how you feel. I exercise but I know its diet that i have a lot of problems with so I'm right there with you. Right now, I'm just trying to eat in moderation everything and watching calorie intake more than anything. Of course with Thanksgiving and xmas coming up that will be more difficult too.

Don't give up Corina. Remember, it's not just about what you can see, but what you can't see. The way you've been trying to live is importent for overall wellbeing and the time you invest in yourself is importent and you ARE worth it.

I know it must be frustrating, when you feel like the effort is not that rewarding, but be proud of not turning to dumb products, supplements or fad workouts / diets to paper over the cracks for a bit, because you're worth more than that.

It won't be asy and it won't always make sense, or feel right, but in the long term it will make a difference. Giving up will potentially allow health issues in the future to happen, that could be partially or even totally irreversible, that could have been prevented.

You deserve a good healthy future, because you're a great person and you just need to recognise the value and worth you possess.

If you ever need a little personal one to one, PM me anytime and let know how you're feeling, if you don't want to dump things on friends or family. Moderators can try to be here for you in emotionla and mental regards too, because they play a big part in physical success as well.

I know you CAN do this and I know deep down you want to do it and make a difference to yourself. You've demonstrated here many times, that you have a quite beautiful attitude to others and as long as this site exists, we will never abandon people like you and give up on you, but if you give up on you or tell us how you are doing / feeling too infrequently, then we can't do much to help, which is our aim, to help you to help yourself :).

Whatever you do, GOOD LUCK and don't forget that you are a bit special and you deserve a better future for yourself physically. It will take time, patience and understanding, but if you're in it for the long haul, things should eventually work out for you.

Don't give up on yourself okay, because we won't and I certainly don't like to see people undervaluing themselves and feeling like they are wasting their time, because you're not misses, you really aren't and when yo ucan truly see the value and worth in yourself, people like me see, you'll realise that despite everything, taking proper physical care of yourself WILL make for a potentially happier, healthier, longer life and when it boils down to it, isn't that what you really want deep down?

Keep pushing and kepe believing in yourself Corina, you're a truly wonderful lady and your continued efforts in the past made me very proud of you. Be proud of yourself like you've deserved to be, by getting your training and exercise back on track again and taking more well deserved time for you, to improve the body you have and achieve the benefits it can bring.

I'm sending you a BIG PAT ON THE BACK and letting you know again, that I am here for you and so is this site.

You deserve a good life, so chin up, make yourself proud, don't give up and stay positive okay :).

YOU ARE WORTH IT!!! :) :).

Thanks All. I get so frustrated when I work hard and don't see results :? and I don't feel better. husband has lost 20 lbs and it almost seems effortless for him, that is depressing for me. He looks fantastic and feels good and here is his fat wife all unhealthy and unhappy. So why did I give up, well part is downright depression, I think. I was at the salon this weekend and one of the hairdressers lost 30lbs recently and all she did was give up snacks (amazing) she lost 20 lbs before she was aware what changed and then started making the decision to eat better and off came another 10 lbs. So I know it is diet above all else. I have to find a way to make it all feel worth the effort even when there isn't tangle evidence its benefiting me. I also need to learn how to think about the overall effects that candy bar or bag of chips is having on health. When you do things moment to moment it is hard to see the cumulative impact.

I really hope the move to Oregon helps, Corvallis is such a healthy city and I will definitely be walking more :). In the mean time I have to plan better make sure I have good choices available when I need them. I think the 6 week body makeover works if one actually does it :). the salt and fat restriction might be a little much but I think one could lose weight without those restrictions because basically you are eating whole foods in proper portion sizes six times a day.

dear have good plane but do not eat diet or food before exercise because when you eating before exercise its use your diet not your body fats.
