Clare,

Egg whites mixed with 1 yolk in the morning are perfect source of protein. Or, I usually have oatmeal mixed with 1 scoop of protein powder then hit the gym. Post workout....1 scoop waxymaize and 1 scoop protein powder with glutamine. I only eat fruit in the morning, before oatmeal. Veggies and salad from lunch on thereafter. I may have a few cranberries mixed with nuts in the afternoon for a snack. You have no protein before you workout now.... that ASAP.

No you're not having lots of Protein with the Soup, but as some of the things I mentioned like Legumes, Mushrooms etc etc, are quite Carb and Protein rich, then if you have them instead of that Fruit, what I'm saying is, you might want to be aware of those Carb sources that are packing Protein, incase you felt you might increase Protein higher than you'd like, then you can adjust your primary Protein source if needs be.

Right I kinda get it. So fruit pre workout and veg/salad for rest of the day. Need more protein in the morning which can be solved as i love boiled eggs but dont always feel like eating them too early. Will just have to train myself. I wish I had more time in the morning, or at all for that matter, to eat the way I should. Baby steps will get me there.

Thanks. :)

I laughed a lot reading this thread - I know just what you mean about the Big Boys section of the gym - in gym it is even sort of walled-off in its own area and even being on a stepper just outside the threshold strikes fear into heart! Also it really annoys me as they all leave all the free weights all over the ground, put them back for God's sake, I swear sometimes it takes longer finding the things than using them...
Maybe it is an English thing Clare!!

Let me know how it is going because I really want to get more toned too. Going to try some of these moves once exams are out of the way, I'll have to google them first as I have no idea what some of them are! :S

That is so true. They have a huge supply of free weights in their section and still steal the ones from the mat section. One day when i was trying to hunt some down i caught a guy in the womens only bit!! Cheeky so and so.

This is true for every gym I've walked into! The inconsiderate F@##$ need to learn "if you lift it, strip it!"

cheers

Today is off day which is a good job as I have been in agony all night. And after dropping son at school i fell asleep again and have now wasted half of day.
I had a abcsess in jaw over xmas (pure agony) and it seems it hasnt all been removed. dentist cannot see me until mon 2nd feb as i need a long appointment. I personally dont think the dentist is the right person to treat it as it is jaw, not tooth and he has failed to get rid of it twice already.

Im soo unhappy about this. Anyone ever had 1? Id gladly go through 12 hours of labour again with a pelvis smaller then childs head (nice image eh?) then have this. And you know why they say i get them? Because i do too much!!!! Well how about i quit job, quit university, get fat and give son away. Yeh that should do it.

Jesus some useful advice would help!!! :( :( :(

ive had a similar thing happen to me. i went for a filling on front tooth at local dentist but regular dentist was busy so the barely qualified student type person fixed tooth. two weeks later...bang unbeleivable pain i mean really excruciating. i had to go to the emergency dentist the next morning. turns out the barely qualified dentist hadnt properly cleaned the tooth cavity before filling it in!

because it wasnt cleaned properly it rotted through the bone that front tooth is fixed to! which meant i had to have gums sliced open and have a filling in the bone...while i was awake! not a nice feeling knowing they are drilling into your bone. *shivers*
