The discussion was about the fact that if you trained like he did, you will get his results. Saying you don't have the time to train like him is irrelevant.
And you don't have to move a weight quickly to target your fast twitch fibers.

how is it? if i train 2/week then i'm not training like him...that's a pretty simple equation to me
the bar doesn't have to move quickly but your intent should be too move it quickly

The fact that you "don't have the time" to train like him is irrelevant to the fact that if you were to train like him, you would get his results.
And you don't have to even TRY to move the bar quickly. Your fast twitch fibers will contract when enough stress is placed on them. Weight, not speed.
