Morning Bama! Were you there when the vote was taken on who should wash the windows? I always get elected when I am doing something else. :funny:

Knee Tucks are an easier for of the leg raise. You sit on the edge of a bench and lean back slightly and hold the edge of the bench with your hands. Legs are stretched out in front of you with heels just off the floor. Exhale and pull knees in and hold core then inhale and extend legs but don't touch the floor until the end of the set.

Have a great day all!

5-HTP is a supplement that has neuro-transmission effects, as it is related to tryptophan, but I don't recall exactly why, I think it's because it stimulates more tryptophan release and also phenyalanine, one of the essential amino acids can be a factor in hormone activity in the hypothalamus, so some people find stacking tryptophan and phenylalanine together useful, so these may be things to research too, as well as melatonin in relation to sleep concerns.

Good Morning All,
Last night I took a major rest night. I had work done yesterday and mouth was frozen for some time. So I curled up on the couch and waited for it to go away. Ended up dehydrated and hungry as the work was done at lunch time. Got to eat around 4:00. So I worked in rehydration and sleep. Feeling the effects of mondays workout so I am sore (a little bit) and happy! :D

Thanks Boss Man! I always like to do homework before I do anything.

Great workout yesterday Bama!

Great workout for you yesterday Sue! No cleaning last night so I will have to move it to the weekend.

Morning sisters,

On tap for today is Evening workout walking/dancing/cardio.

Great workout yesterday Bama, and I see we had the same temp except we were cloudy and humid here.

Hmmmm you elected for the windows....I ask for a recount Bama LOL Seriously I love doing windows, and love how the look when I am done...of course when baby was still here, he'd be poking his nose on the inside while I was outside, so I have something else to clean when I came in LOL

I like knee tucks too, Chris. HUGS on the work and the frozen mouth. I love when I "feel the gain" too. I also see we both "do the research before leaping"....always a good move I have found. Thanks on the workout. I have vacuuming today and I am done with cleaning till Saturday...."a women's work is never done" LOL Have a great day Chris.

Well off to check mail, have breakfast, vacuum and make up our veggie version of HH Mexican Cheesy Enchilada Rice gonna leave one out of the 8 we get made for dinner tonight. Haven't had one in a while....can't wait.

Yikes we are 70 with a REAL FEEL OF 78 with 72% humidity and a 61 Dew point......YUCK...come on 90s and dry us out....PLEASE!

Bama, and Molasses have a great day.

Afternoon Sisters,

Late getting here but have been busy with the RLS today.

Chris I believe you needed that rest last night for sure and thank you for the infor on the knee tucks . I honestly had no idea what they were.
I'm sure you will be back on schedule soon with your workouts.

Sisters, I too check everything out before buying or doing.

I too have trouble sleeping . Doctor gave me some sleeping pills(old school) none of the newer ones on the Market but they didn't do any good at all. Oh to sleep 8 hours. Husband can sleep 10 to 12 hours and so can Daughter but not I . And he is asleep within a few minutes of hitting the bed. I think I have a Gerbil in head that just keeps running on his wheel . :D

workout this morning was 35 minutes on the Treadmill and this afternoon 20 minutes on the Rebounder . Bouncy Bouncy

I am working on Photo albums . Right now I am moving all the pictures over to Acid Free albums and I have Daughters finished at least one of them . Her Dancing years plus her girl scout years and she was in both from 4 years of age to 18 so I have a lot of pictures. I did get rid of some that were alike or had already faded but still have plenty . Next is her cheerleading days . It's a big job and it's been fun going though the pictures . I did her Dancing years in the Creative memories but none of the others. That would take to much time.

Hi Mo and Sue and Yah, hope you day is going well.

Poor Angii , she was unable to find someone to stay with her Sister so you could join Cody for the week end . I know that if any of us were closer one of us would have. ( I saw it on facebook)

Oh It was idea to do the windows. Not that I wanted to but a bird was busy on one and I had no choice . Hubby insisted that he be here when I did them cause he didn't want me on the ladder so He did the upper and I did the inside and lower ones. So the front of the house is finished . Not doing the back . Big yard and Privacy fence so no one can see them except for the guy who cuts the grass .

Enjoy the rest of the Day.

Afternoon sisters,

Chris, nice walk and yeah when I lived back east was always humid. Growing up in NYC was bad enough, then we moved to L.I. surrounded by water and OMG in August especially, you could have just taken a shower, come out of the house and walk to your car and you were ready for another...if you had a bar of soap you could have taken one in the drive-way LOL

Oh Bama, I feel for you as don't get much sleep anymore either and years back I was like your hubby and daughter....as one time I slept for 14 hours got up had breakfast, did Sunday stuff, watched TV with parents (I was still living at home and about 17 at the time) and then went to bed after TV and went to sleep till the next morning. Drove mother batty LOL dad was the same way...so must have gotten his "sleep genes". LOL

Oh how cool Bama, and we are still doing our albums with scanning etc. Chuck has taken some time off away from it as his computer is hooked up to the scanner and he has the special programs on it.

Yeah I know Bama, Angii wrote to me about it and I told her...I wished I lived by her as I would do it in a NY minute.

Well off to lunch,

Sue

Good day all! Did have fun watching the gkids and since I was up early, was a long day as I didn't really need to get there until 9 a.m as If the kids sleep, son can sleep in a bit too as he was working from his little office at home:) So it was nice to kind of have him there in case of anything as I sure wouldn't want something to happen when I was there! Its different with your own kids and being younger and more concerned with other kids i guess:) Little one took a little nap so other one watched a cartoon and I got to wash some dishes. they don't usually have tv on and don't have cable, just what you can get from phone apps and netflex and other things which is enough if you want it on. Anyway, got home at 9 p.m:)
No sauna today. Don't even think there was wood brought in and I didn't want to even look to see none. Its cloudy now and more but little rain for tonight but more south of us must have started already as middle son called from GB and was on way back from going this morning down there for an interview about a job. He is suppose to stop in for a bit soon I hope. He said it was pouring.
Older son got his jeep in friends garage anyway so will hopefully be fixed by Monday at the latest. He could sale the 4 wheel Explorer in town then also if he wants for us. He cleaned it all out anyway so must look so good now:)
Got to go, son's here:)

Hi ladies,

YAH so glad you had a nice time watching the kids. Sorry about the sauna. Hope middle son comes for a bit and sending "job vibes" his way. We'll take that rain. Glad to hear the car is in older son's friends garage. Hope it's a quick . Hope he can sell the other one.

Well same here, off to breathing, meds and nap.....plus Martine was here, added freon to our a/c and we are all set.

Night night to all,

Sue

Just a quick good morning as couldn't sleep after 3:30 a.m and got up in case of call in but hopefully not so I can go back for a nap. Got to get up early enough tomorrow morning:( Son did drop in and said about his job interview and sounds like a great place to work and benefits even for PT etc. He was in hurry a bit so he could still make it to his bike ride with bunch in next town to him so he could unwind a bit since about over 6 hrs. driving car. I told him I could have come down for the ride since that was all he was doing and keep him awake:) Anyway, hoping he gets what he wants at this time since he has over 12 yrs. in his job now and he will have Very good references as they really don't want to see him leave. Very dependable and no sick days for him:) No rain here anyway so all south of us pretty bad I guess. I see humidity is in 90's again today. Forgot that I might have to work Mon. also and Tues. is day and who knows. I think the people with the dog come home sometimes Monday but I would have to pack up and go early then unless their later and I go and let the dog out one more time after work.
Sue, I see you had a good day and hope Mo can get on again soon? Hope you have some nicer weather also:) Have a great day!
Well I suppose Dh will be up and down soon when I try to go back to sleep but I will try anyway:) Have a very good Friday everyone  :coffee:

Good Morning Sisters,
Last night was not too bad for me. I did get workout in. Last night I focused on Delts with arnold press (2x7 lb, 15 reps, 4 sets), upright row (2x7 lb, 15 reps, 4 sets), lateral raise (2x3 lb, 15 reps, 4 sets), front raise (2x3 lb, 15 reps, 4 sets), and rear fly (2x3 lb, 15 reps, 2 sets). I didn't get the cleaning in that I wanted to so I will have that for the weekend. I left the weekend open for that anyway.

Today I am headed out to lunch with friends so no noon time walk. Tonight will be leg night and I am looking forward to it. :D I had a good workout week this week and I will try not to blow it. Also will get cleaning done that I need to do.

Good morning YAH! Hope your son gets the job. Glad the sitting went well too.

Hi Mo! Hope you get the computer issues fixed.

Sue our humidity isn't that bad yet! Hope you had a good day.

Bama I think us women have way too much going on in our heads most of the time. Great workouts Bama! The photo albums sound fabulous! I would love to take time to do some scrapbooking with photos but I am just too busy right now. Glad to hear Hubby helped with the windows.

Have a great day and weekend all!! :sunshine:

Morning sisters,

On tap for today....Mari Winsor Pilates Bun & Thigh Sculpting this morning and WHM Sculpt Sexy Arms (the other one wasn't doing it for me)

YAH sorry to hear about your night's sleep, but very happy to hear about son's interview and I sure hope he gets the job. Hoping no call in for you and the dog sitting goes well this weekend. Hoping it all works out with the dog people coming home and your work schedule next week. Hope you got some more sleep in.

Chris, looks like a greet night for you in the weight workout department and sorry about the cleaning schedule but as you said you can do it this weekend. Have a nice lunch with friends. I enjoyed friend Wendy's and monthly lunches and going with another gal, Janet. What I didn't like was those Friday "meeting lunches" at the law office on Friday's.

Have fun with tonight working out those legs....I will be doing so with Mari this a.m., legs and butt LOL Boy do I feel the burn with this one.

Oh Chris, usually our humidity is "non-existent" but we have this "front" that is giving us all this moisture....it will be gone after today...good riddance I say.

Bama, have a fun Friday....Molasses, if you can at least read....hope your Friday goes well and your workout also.

Well I am off to mail, eating, workout and then "lots of stuff", first of which is to cook up fish and dice and slice toppings.

Just touching base to say good night:) Got up town for shower and all and son's jeep didn't get on the way to getting fixed today so probably Monday. they had a few others too. He went store and got some chicken etc. so I had a few pieces. Its of course all clear and going to be sunny since I work tomorrow:) Maybe get to 30's tonight. tired now but will make a list so I don't forget too much. Never good at packing for a few nights:) Hopefully will go sleep earlier so get up earlier too. Sounds like so many good workouts out there for you all:) I should get in some on days off when I have more. I'll see the schedule tomorrow. I don't think I will be bringing computer as the battery went up 100% finally and don't want to take a chance yet of it going way down so might not be on for a while. But you know I will kind of be enjoying myself except for the work:) Wish I could have got to RFL tonight and tomorrow but alway seem to be working on that weekend. So long for now and have a real relaxing night of sleep too! take care and relax for the weekend a bit also
