I don't know what was going on with computer but I was having issues with just this site the last few days. I know I'm the only one, so it must be on end. Anyway, I haven't been slacking and avoiding you all!

I'll be back later after I've done workout.

Happy Saturday, everyone~

workout today was 5 rounds, 12 reps, of lunges, concentration curls, tricep kickbacks and burpees, except on one round I did squat thrusts instead of burpees, and one round I did squat jumps in place of burpees.

Hope you have an awesome weekend, YAH, and enjoy your time away from home! Sounds like a good opportunity for your DS, although I know you'd hate to have him so far away. Glad you had a nice time with your grandkids, and hope you have more opportunities this summer.

Great workouts, Sue, and thanks for being messenger. :) Hope your drier air is back today. We were so hot and humid yesterday, you could see the haze in the air. It's much less humid today, thank goodness. Glad your AC is fully charged with freon!

I did learn that if you get the 404 Error, you can just hit Back, as Boss Man said, and at least get your post copied so you don't lose it. Not that it did me much good, as I was having all sorts of trouble with the site and couldn't get back on to post copied message until now, when it's all old news!

Great workout, Chris, and nice that you had lunch with friends. :sunshine: I'm sure you'll get your cleaning in this weekend. Maybe you'll even get some help!

Great workouts for you, too, Bama! I'm still envying your 'bouncy, bouncy!' Maybe ask your dr about the amino acids on your next visit. I went back to just the GABA the last two nights; I was waking up too groggy with the tryptophan. I don't even take a big dose--the jar says two of the chewables, and I only take one. But it keeps me from waking up after just a few hours and then not being able to get back to sleep. It probably doesn't work for everyone though, or it would be more widely known about!

Speaking of what DH calls "mad scientist" ways, I grew a kombucha scoby, and then made first batch of kombucha. This morning I bottled it with some sliced strawberries, hopefully it will get carbonated and be ready to drink tomorrow or Monday. I've been making water kefir for a few years, but for some reason, I can't keep the grains healthy anymore. I even bought a new batch, but they won't grow. :( So I am trying kombucha instead; it's pretty similar except you use black tea instead of water.

Have a great weekend, everyone~

I'm not sure what preempted your issues Fit, but if such things happen again, you might want to try accessing the site using a different browser, to determine if it's a browser problem or not and you could also delete cookies and clean out a google cache or a cache that your search engine has.

Other than that it might have been down to you accidentally blocking some cookies or some kind of access controls on your web browsers options menu.

Good to know you're back on and can post now though.

Thanks, Boss Man, I'll try that if it happens again. I think I just annoyed the site because I got the 404 Error message and I kept trying to repost long post by taking out one paragraph at a time, trying to see what was objectionable. After about the 4th try, the site wouldn't even respond anymore. Apparently it was a 2 or 3 day sulk, but eventually I was forgiven, and here I am. :D

Today's workout was a warm-up followed by 4 of the 4 Min. Metabolic Miracle segments, then some nice foam rolling.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Morning sisters,

YAH I am hoping work went well and you are now having a grand time with the doggy watching and enjoying a different environment, relaxing, and just overall having a nice YAH "me day" Sunday and weekend. As I said saying some prayers for your son.

Molasses, glad you can get back on here again. Computers and sites....don't ya love them. Your welcome and thanks on the workouts. Nope we had another "higher humidity/dew point combo" Just hoping not seeing a repeat of Lousy where as the years went on we lived their the humidity got worse.

Great workout this morning Molasses. I see you have been having "sleep issues" too. I normally just deal with it or stay up as you know. Or take an allergy pill as they will put me to sleep. LOL

Molasses, I haven't a clue what "kombucha scoby, and then made first batch of kombucha" even is or means LOL

I use Firefox now Molasses, as we have an older version of IE and don't want to mess with it as we don't want our Roboform to become unusable.

I am with Bossman, when I get 404 or other errors I clear out cache and close the browser and then reopen it.

Well I am off to a "me day" Sunday. Wishing you all a wonderful day,

Sue

Sounds like two good workouts for you, Sue! Kombucha is a probiotic beverage; the "scoby" that you need to produce kombucha is a "symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast." How yummy does that sound? :wowzer: It looks kind of like the top of a jellyfish, a big scummy blob. I tried a little of first batch yesterday, and it was delicious. When I first started making water kefir, I must have dumped out 10 jars before I worked up the courage to actually take a sip of the stuff. :D It's probably not something your doctor would want you messing with. While it's main benefit is to boost your immune system, I don't know that I'd feel comfortable giving it someone who doesn't already have a robust immune system. I'm a Firefox fan, too; I suspect it was less browser than trying to post about 12 times in 90 sec.

I am skipping a morning workout and planning an evening yoga flow class.

Have a great day, everyone~

Molasses, thanks for telling me what it is and how it works and all. Have fun tonight with the workout. Yeah I like both of these workouts, only one move I can't do with the morning workout this week.

Well hoping YAH did alright this weekend and Chris is alright too, along with Bama.

I am off line and will do Evening workout walking/dancing/cardio for Tuesday. Have blood tests to get done....so will be off line in the a.m.

Have a good night....

Good Evening Sisters,

Sorry I was MIA this morning . I just read the post and glad Mo that everything is all right with you for posting . I will try the cleaning out the next time I get the 404 error .

Yah, hope you had or are having a nice time with Dog sitting . That is one beautiful dog I would love watching it . I miss having pets but impossible with Hubby's allergies.

Sue you and I with our sleeping patterns . Even when I sleep it's only 5 or 6 hours . Need that generic allergic pill every night . Your workouts sound very interesting .

Chris hope all is well with you and you had a nice weekend.

Well I did a different Strength DVD today . Haven't done it in years and kit kick you know what . 65 minutes with Jeri Love's trim and slim I think it is called. Mo, you would llike it, I think . The full workout is on you tube if you are interested. I also walked 2 miles plus 1 mile on the rebounder. Total of 3, that I did in the afternoon. I'm getting better at getting a workout in during the afternoon. (when I have time)

I think I already mentioned that Saturday I spent the day with Son and Daughter and the two Grand daughters , Grand son is of the age now that he would rather spend with his friends. Also he went to his first concert that night . Queen imitators. Not sure of their names but he really enjoyed it. I remember first concert which was Elvis .
Sunday I went to a flea Market with Son , his Wife and didn't see anything to buy except for Amish Pepper Jelly . Something that I love. It was so hot and I was so glad when we had covered all . The inside buildings were A/C . According to Fit Bit I walked over 10000 steps and feet felt it .
So a busy weekend.

Well that is all the news from Ohio. Home to Bama this weekend .

Take care and Remember to turn Scars into Stars .

Morning sisters,

3 miles this am with soft hand weights only 2 pounders .

Have a question . If you are really sore from a strength workout that you did on Monday should you skip the next one or just go for it. I am so sore from that Jari Love work out and was just wondering . Maybe tomorrow I will be ok but think it's a good question just the same.

Morning sisters,

On tap for today.....Evening workout walking/dancing/cardio

Gosh I hate getting up at 6 a.m. LOL but have to go get blood tests done this a.m., wish us luck. Poor Chuck can't eat this a.m., with cholesterol/lipid panel having to be done...

Yeah Bama, "sleep has become a very precious thing" LOL

Some oldie but goodies for the workouts and I have done them over the years.

Wow Bama, haven't heard Jeri Love's name in a long time and kudos to you. I am finding more and more I can't do some of the older workouts I used to....oh well it is what it is.

Awesome workout for you.

first concert was Tony Bennett, Bama, and many many of Elvis, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, BTO, and the list goes on. I saw anyone I wanted to at the Garden since grandpa had an "in" and got me tickets, plus had great stadiums on L.I. and went to those and many of the colleges to see groups too. Plus many of our restaurants had dinner shows and girlfriend Debbie and I would go and see lots of the oldies groups.

Glad you got some time with the grandkids and your son and daughter too.

Safe trip Bama, and great workout this a.m. I usually skip the workout if I am really sore, if just a bit, I do it.

Chris, glad you to hear your hubby is doing well and hope your day goes well. Almost time for your vacay soon isn't it, or are you skipping it this year.

Molasses, hope your evening workout went well and today is a good one.

YAH hope all went well yesterday....and for the weekend.

Well off to do mail, eat and get ready,

Sue

Good morning, all,

I didn't get to yoga yesterday. :( I had some errands to run first and they took a little longer than I expected, so I ended up just coming home after. I did do a strength workout this morning though.

Glad your DH is doing well, Chris. Hope he recovers quickly.

Bama, if I'm sore, I usually just do a light workout. (Yoga is a great recovery workout!) Moving the muscles makes me feel better, but I wouldn't stress them further with heavy weights till they recover. Great job on the Jeri Love! I have one of her DVDs; I should pull it out and use it again. Hope your enjoyed the concert. first concert was The Eagles; they were so good! Lucky you to have seen Elvis!

Good luck with your ride and tests, Sue! You're welcome on the info; if your dr were to give the thumbs up to kombucha or kefir, I'd be happy to walk you through making some. The kombucha is tastier, in opinion, but they are both really good for you.

Wishing you all wonderful days~ :sunshine:

Afternoon SIS, Chris glad you hubby is all right . We were concerned for you as you are usually here. We'll be here when you have time to come back.

Sue, Lulcky you , I have only been to see the one concert but it was the best to me. lOL. Sometimes in Biloxi we take one in . I think the last one I saw was Debbie Reynolds but I didn't really consider that a concert .

Mo, I love the Eagles Music, How nice that you got to see them. Thank you for the info on working out when sore. Jari was the cause of it. She is one tough lady .

Yah, How you doing today.

Well I did do a three mile walk this morning . I wanted to walk outside but it was pouring and has been on and off all day.

4 more days and we will be on the road again. Not looking forward to the trip and going back but it is what it is .

Have a good day everyone .

HI and thought I'd pop in at least to say I'm kind of back:) Long weekend and would have been nicer if I didn't have to work a lot of it and just enjoy the dog etc. Went over after work Sat. and and lady went home as soon as she got to work so we were short that day a bit. Hard to enjoy Sat. night as thinking I might have to go Sun. and took a night of figuring out what number was good for me on the number bed too :D Plus no noisy fan for noise. so luckily I didn't get called in but so tired so I was relaxing anyway and went over son's house to eat mostly while they were working as I know their microwave better etc. Then went back and finally figured the numbers go higher than I thought so I was better at 85 then below 50:) Also had son's noisy little fan for some noise so slept better since I had to go work Mon. Hated to leave the dog so early but she went out and did her stuff and after work I went over and let her out and figured they would be home soon. I had played with her maybe 40 min. anyway. Went son's and he said the woman texted him that they were running later and wouldn't probably be home until 7 or 8 pm so I'm glad I went over to let her out but I was pretty tired from work and didn't want to excite her again and leave so I'm sure she was glad to see her owner come home later  Tried to get some sleep last night as had to work today also so I'm hoping I have the next 2 days off anyway. Got home around 7 pm tonight as went son's and he got to pick up his jeep and its finally running  And only cost of fuel pump sale price for the guy and free labor as son helps his DD's and him in fixing their furnace's etc. So not bad. I know he was really missing it for almost 2 weeks but took moped to work anyway. I know I'd go crazy not having vehicle also.
Will wait until tomorrow to catch up more. Just glad you finally got on also Mo and hope your Dh is ok also Chris. And Bama, nice your having more time with kids and gkids and hopefully not too many more trips back and forth soon. One of our neighbors houses sold now but not the one that Dh has to keep watch over and not sure about the one that went for auction or owned by bank maybe. Sue, sure hope you cool off some also and lots of prayers and good wishes for your Dr's visit for both of you and the shopping also, and no itching either:) It was a beautiful day today but maybe some clouds now so temps haven't really got too far up lately. Just Hot at work :( But I think of you with those High temps and glad we don't have them!:) Have a good night everyone and some very good sleep's also
