Happy last day of school, Chris! Let the summer fun begin! :D

Great workout, Bama! Hope your packing goes quickly so you can enjoy your time with your friends and family.

Sorry about the calls, Sue. Hope today is a smooth one!

Yay on the job for your DS, YAH! And yay on the sauna, too, but sorry about your fall. I'm still chipping away at the grout, but I did get to yoga the other night anyway.

Today was Pilates with a You Tube video (Fitness Blender Bikini Pilates WO, I think it was called)

Happy Friday, everyone~

Morning sisters,

On tap for today 10 Minute Solutions Slim & Sculpt Pilates (with band) workouts (lower body Pilates and Pilates for Flexibility this morning and Prevention Triple Your Toning Arm Workout Need some stretching today so will finish the week with Suzanne, wasn't that enamored with the leg workout anyway, was better years back, but then I am years older and not as energetic either.

Good workout this a.m., Bama and good luck with the packing and have fun with the visits and safe trip.

No more teachers, no more books, no more teacher's dirty looks....and the other ditties we sang as school ended LOL Have fun at the special lunch, Chris and let the "summer vacay begin"....bet the boys are happy about it.

Thanks Molasses, as for today "not dealing with the incompetents" so it should go alright. Plus cooking today, so that makes me happy, especially when it's "hot Italian sausage for me for tonight's dinner, in a yummy sub roll I bought then sautéed with some scallions and multi-colored peppers...in that yummy roll topped with a slice of melted....Swiss cheese....makes mouth water...LOL

HMMMM sounds like a very interesting workout.

Well I am off to check other boards, mail and then get the day started...

Have a nice Friday ladies and a wonderful weekend, take care of those Dad's on Father's Day.....

I googled that and if I'm right is that the one with bench press, tricep extensions and bicep curls?

Yes, Bossman, but combines a band and dumb bells together and the bench press is done on a mat. Three times a week, 3 sets of 10 reps....I am doing 12. It's evening workout and I can do it in 20 minutes. Feels good and I like it with is always a plus.

Have a nice weekend,

Morning sisters,

Great workout this morning Molasses.

I have RLW's to do with bathroom cleaning and then a lot of standing and cleaning batches of scallions LOL

sub with sausage, peppers and scallions was just delicious......I haven't had it that way in a very very long time....

Well off to get the day started. Chris, hope your weekend goes wonderfully and prayers and hugs for your family....Bama, have a nice one visiting and getting ready to go. YAH hoping work isn't too bad for you and you get some "YAH time too".

Good day all! Not a very nice one with rain and all. Start of this week it looked sunny for the weekend but things change around here I guess. Was sunny yesterday so Dh got half of the little garage roof done as his helper isn't too efficient and has to be watched a lot i guess. So Dh ends up doing and showing a lot. Kind of wishes he had got those others to do that cheap now but sounded as if they were busy or? Anyway, can't work on it until Wed. I guess.
Son called and he and family were going down to her parents and camp etc. but he thought it would be sunny also:) Talked with him while he was going there anyway and could go and stay at their house but not sure yet what I will do today. Moving slow today I guess. They went with 2 vehicles and he comes back later Sun. evening and DIL comes back later Mon. as she has camp to do so kids go daycare in Marq. on Mon. middle son has 3 days of work this week and then 11 days off and the wedding etc. and probably has to get his license here as his bday is coming up quick also and so much getting ready for GB to do. Guy asked him if he wants to dog sit his 2 big dogs while he's on honeymoon down GB but not sure he can with all the rest of the stuff he still has to do. We'll see I guess. DIL's sis lives down there too but in a different part of GB.
Well Chris, first day of summer tomorrow so your kids had to go school until then? Seems the kids around here have been out for a while now. Hoping you all enjoy your summer!
Everyone's doing so great on their workouts also! Bama, hoping the packing gets done and you get to enjoy your night with friends and visit tomorrow:) You must know how to pack better than I do for a night even:)
Mo, hope you got the grout done? I bought some Barkeeper's friend stuff to try out also on our iron color tub:) Not sure when though. Probably should have thought of sauna today but so late now and wasn't sure what other son was doing.
Sue, have a great day and sound like fabulous cooking there:) Dh had beef to do something with I guess. I thought of some things but what he said he might do with it, is not what I though so I left it alone:) Hoping you had a good night's sleep and all too and are feeling better?
Well it looks like a all rain day today so kind of depressing. Hope to go Monday to wash some stuff over son's as they work their last late night on kitchen floors I guess:( Older son said he's not going to do them anymore unless he does it alone partly or someone else can do it:) He will soon be taking over making food ordering on computers and putting away the orders on the 2 days they come in anyway. So that will be different for him also.
At work, washer forgot to come in early so another one took over but somehow we moved it and didn't have to go over at least. But hectic a bit. I hope you all enjoy your weekend and first day of summer and Father's Day also if you can. :coffee:

Afternoon sisters,

Bummer on the weather YAH but have to say sure wish we'd get some of that "wet stuff" we are in desperate need of it.

Lots of fires and even a "dome fire" at Yosemite...which is very scary.

Glad it was a nice day for you hubby to get the roof work done. Sorry about him not being able to get the other help. I see D and the family are going to be away. I'd go and stay YAH, get ya out of the house and in different environs.

Wow middle son is going to be very busy with work, wedding and then the new job too. Hmmmm could you dog sit, YAH instead, get you out and about and with some furbabies.

Sorry you missed out on sauna. Oh sausage and peppers/scallions in sub roll was soooo gooood! LOL Along with scoop of PB ice cream later in the evening.

If hubby waits to long it might go bad, so you might just want to cook it up and tell him you didn't want it to go bad.

Slept but had some weird dreams and a couple of those annoying "pit stops" too.....ain't old age grand....NOT.

Bummer on the weather and hope you get to son's to get your washes done.

Glad to hear son will have some new duties to replace the others and the new ones sound like much more fun.

Hope work finished up alright and you slept well and are resting today....

Chris, hoping the kids had fun with Father's Day and your weekend went well...

Bama, safe trip and I see you will be busy for a while once there too. Have fun on the trip to MS too.

Molasses, hope you got your yard stuff done, your workouts in and the furbabies and hubby had a nice Father's Day celebration.

Well I am off to mail, etc....very late today as we had to clean up the mess Steam Facial Machine made when apparently the seam went and leaked all over the counter top, got the box wet, etc.....hoping we can it....as I love that machine. It's ancient as I got it the first year we lived together back in 19.75 for $19.95 from the Doubleday book club....used it every Sunday for most of those years too. I know even if I find one (which I did look and looks like Conair makes a lot of them) they are smaller and no where near the size of this one. So wish us luck.

Just a pop in to say good night as sun is still got a time to go with the longest day of the year: :wowzer: It finally came out around 5 pm as it was gloomy and rained a bit on Sat. and night but just cloudy all day until now. Makes one feel more alive so I wish it had come earlier and No I didn't go Marq. or anywhere Sue. Did go store here and got to chatting with girl there so missed son and kids but since it was Father's day, that was ok. Son got fed some meatloaf etc. anyway and the kids were going bed pretty quick by the time he gets home as didn't sleep much last night in CF's I guess and was tired so maybe he'll get good sleep tonight. they go daycare tomorrow and wife comes home later then. Dh went upstairs also as he goes work tomorrow too. I'm hoping no call in since I do want to go son's as they work late shift one more time at work tomorrow. I can wash some clothes and shower etc. and put the cats out. I guess i could have had sauna on a day like today but slow thinking here:( anyway, hope you all had a very nice first day of summer and Father's day also  Hope you had a nice safe trip Bama? Sorry on the steam machine Sue! I know you like that one and hope it works again. I like sausage and forget about getting a ring of it and just maybe even grilling it etc. Dh did make meatloaf as it was still good but I thought there wasn't that much of it but there was. Course he gave N.N some and our son so not much now:) Looks like it will be a nice sunset but we can't see much of it here but will look for the triangle stars or ? that are suppose to be out there for June, but not sure when you see them. So have a good night and good sleeps for sure everyone and hope your week is a good one!

Hi All,
Had a good weekend. Boys had a fabulous time on saturday just a guys day. I did some cleaning inside for a bit then did some gardening for a bit. There was visiting as well.
Thanks all for the wishes for Mom! She is slowly improving. It will be a while yet. She is still on oxygen and still can't sleep laying down.
Dad is doing well also. He is getting around and resting when he needs to.

Good Morning all. Glad your mom is doing ok also Chris :D Well, the clear skies did not stay and it is a cloudy gloomy day and rain expected for the afternoon or soon. But I will go son's later anyway when their at work. Dh is working now but not for long as its only 4 hrs. Bet he might have had to lawn mow there with hand push mower and he likes his riding old one:) So he will be beat i guess. I see Green Bay is expecting Big storm again with rain, maybe hail and torado's! Seems they are getting worse than we do these days and then it goes over toward where sis is in MI.
Hope you all are going to have a good Monday and have some nice weather also. Got to go get some things together now so I can leave anytime:) C U  :coffee:

Morning sisters,

Workouts for today....2 Combined workouts from Prevention -Flab Your Thighs (Exercises to tone your upper legs) and Prevention's Get Lovely Leg this morning and WHM's Get Sleek, Sexy Arms

Glad the weather got better, YAH and sorry about not going anywhere. I see you did get some shopping done and got to chit chat. Sorry you missed son and the kids. Glad son got some eats and I see the kids were tuckered out too. Hoping no call in and you get to son's for washes, etc. Thanks on the steamer, yeah I hope so too. Did find some made by Conair at WM, so at least there is something out there. Yes, I used to get the ring of kielbasa and turkey sausage from ????(can't remember it now....hopefully will come to me LOL)

Glad a nice sunset for you.

Chris, glad the weekend went well and the boys had a fabulous guy day. I see you got cleaning done too along with some gardening. Glad to hear your mom is improving. Your mom will need to sleep on two pillows that elevates her head. Hard to get used too, as I slept with only one, but once I had to go on the continuous oxygen, had to have two..... HUGS go out to her. Also I don't know if your area there is damp but she might need water traps at some point in time too Chris. Let me know and I can give you names of all the stuff.

Very glad to hear your dad is doing well also, Chris.

Bummer on the forecast, YAH, however, you wouldn't like our high of 96 today..... Glad you are able to go to sons. Sorry to hear son had to use the push mower. That's what I had at the house and yeah quite a workout. Oh no on the GB forecast. Hope everyone is alright.

Safe trip and have a good day, YAH.

Bama, thinking of you....you will be missed.

Molasses, hope the day goes well.

Well off to mail, etc.

Strength training for me this morning followed by 25 burpees.

Great workouts for you, Sue! Hope your steamer can be fixed--there's always duct tape! :D

So glad you are getting out, YAH! Nope, I'm still working on the grout. It's a process!

Glad to hear your folks are both doing okay, Chris, and you had a good weekend.

Wishing you all a wonderful day~

Good Morning Peeps!!
Last night I managed to straighten up the back entry way. Moved around the shoes and sandals there and hung up the backpacks. For exercise I did arms with a little back. Bent over rows (5 lbs, 15 reps, 4 sets), bicep curls (7 lbs, 15 reps, 4 sets), tricep kickbacks (3 lbs, 15 reps, 4 sets), and hammer curls (7 lbs, 15 reps, 4 sets).

Sue thanks for the funny this morning with Maxine for president. I would vote her in. Great leg workouts Sue! Thanks for the info they are sending her oxygen through water. Still hoping she won't need to bring the oxygen home. She was off it for a while yesterday but I don't know how her oxygen saturation was after that.

Great workout FitMo! Wow that is a long time to work on grout. I am thinking no tile for me. :funny:

Morning YAH! We are having the cloudy shower-y weather too. Hope the sun comes out for you soon. :sunshine:

Hi Sisters,

Not a good morning as I just read one of favorite actors passed at 86, Di*k(and yes I know I have a star in there but afraid the "word police" will kick it out otherwise) Van Patton...loved the shows and movies he was in but we both adored Eight is Enough and I used to sing the theme song while I pushed the kids on the swing at daycare or at nap time and they loved it....both Chuck and I had tears this morning.

Well on tap for today workout wise.....Evening workout walking/dancing/cardio.

Great workout yesterday Molasses, and LOL yes there is always duct tape. Good luck with the grout.

Awesome workout last night Chris and I see you got the entryway fixed up too, a real win win.

I can't take credit for it Chris as I got it from Molasses originally. But wanted to pass it on as a number of us are big Maxine fans.

Gotcha on the oxygen, she is on a different system. However, if they do send it home and you have any questions, let me know. Though I am sure they will explain it all to her as the night I was released from the hospital...the oxygen company came after 11 p.m., and set up the system for us and gave us a bunch of supplies for it too and explained it all.

No I am with you Chris, had tile in one apartment and said never again.

Molasses, hope all is well today.

YAH hope you got out and about yesterday and today, if a work day, is a good one. Like Chris said, let's hope you see some sun!

Well I am off to check eggs to see if they are boiling yet, then mail and breakfast and dice up pears and the list goes on LOL

Sue
