Good Morning All,

Well last night was a good one. I did Designing Delts workout; arnold press (20 reps, 4 sets, 2x7 lbs), upright row (20 reps, 2 sets, 2x7 lbs then 2 sets with 2x5 lbs), lateral raise (20 reps 4 sets, 2x3 lbs),front raise (20 reps 4 sets, 2x3 lbs) and rear fly (20 reps 2 sets, 2x3 lbs). I haven't increased the weights yet but I did increase the reps. Tomorrow is Canada day so I will not be around, and we are taking thursday and friday off as well. I will be back on monday though.

I will wish you all a Happy July 4th!! I might forget later today. :?

Boss Man having things censored may be annoying while we learn the ropes but I am glad for some spam content not being here.

Great workouts Sue! I hope that does the trick for you back and your aches. I did like Jurassic World. I wouldn't run out and buy it though.

Sorry about the migraine Mo! Glad it is leaving for you. I too haven't touched the weed killer. Mostly because there are kids out there and I want to see them out and playing. They are all into scooters right now and zipping around and making lots of noise.

Good morning Bama and YAH!

No problem Bossman , I too am glad that words are filtered. I think I know what word I used and will use it now to see it that was it . Drugs. Well I see it was not Drugs so I am not worried about it. You know what our parents always said at least mine did . It at first you don't succeed try try again.

I did 10 minutes warm up on the Dreadmill plus a 30 minute step workout and a 30 interval walking and jogging with Leslie .

Busy Morning so will be back later .

Mo, so sorry about the headache .

Morning sisters,

On tap for workouts today.....Evening workout walking/dancing/cardio

Bossman, not a problem for me on filtering, it's part and parcel of being on a board. Though sometimes some carry to an extreme when an actor's name is blocked, and even then I dealt with it, just forgot sometimes LOL It's your job and the software's job and it does it well.

Awesome workout Chris, and have a wonderful Canada Day with the Flag-raising ceremony, changing of the guard and concerts and all the other fun things......at least that's what I hear from those I know in Canada LOL

You will be missed and thanks on the 4th of July wishes....we don't do anything anymore. Thanks on the workouts Chris and yes Suzanne's flexibility helped back and aches. Thanks on the Jurassic World review.

Well have a wonderful day and see ya on Monday....enjoy the holiday.

LOL Bama, yes parents had that saying too. Great workout and same here, busy morning, so I am off to check other boards, mail and off line I go for most of the morning.

Molasses, I hope you are feeling better today.

YAH I hope you too, are doing alright and get out and about a bit before the consecutive work days.

Have a nice day,

Sue

Hey All,
I got a walk in!!! 45 minutes and I am glistening.

Thanks Sue! Yes there will be the anthem and concerts, and bouncy castles for the kids, and a lot of food trucks. Looking forward to it. I am thinking of a long morning bike ride to start the day. :sunshine: Enjoy your workout!

Great workout Bama!
Have a great rest of the week!

Happy Canada Day, Chris! Sounds like fun. :sunshine: Great workouts for you! :thumb:

Great workouts for you, too, Sue! Yes, I'm feeling better today, thanks. And I am finally finishing up that ding-darn grout job. It's all grouted and wiped, just needs to have the haze washed and buffed off. (I'm taking a short break to feed Chief.)

Bama, all I could think was maybe the use of a couple brand names in one post made it look like spam? Somehow I don't think we are going to figure out the mind of the spam filter though. :D Great workouts!

Hope your day is going well, YAH, and your feet and legs are holding up.

Today was another rest day for me--that makes 3 in a row. I haven't done a workout since Sat. Tomorrow I'll get back to it. Although I've got the handymen coming tomorrow to do the mudroom floor and toilet replacement so it might have to wait till afternoon.

Anyway, wishing everyone a peaceful evening~

Good Morning all! Got to get moving if I want to start up sauna since it takes a long time to get the water hot etc. And not too much hot wood in there. Really need the hours of heat relaxing aching legs and need to sweat some poisons out too of course:) Its only 50's now and suppose to get in 60's today. After rain the other day, turned to cold last night! Had to get fleece jacket on over son's even but I was sweating from work so maybe I felt it more for a while. Finally got warmed up and he grilled steak and baked potato's for his brother and I:) other son had nice bachelor party for the whole weekend with his younger bro and a few friends from school and work on a beach by Lake Michigan. Very nice one with swimming and laying on the chairs on the beach so was a vacation also:) Now 2 weeks from it, their friend get married and they will have to go down GB again.
I got through 2 days of work and running around and so glad I have 2 days off and then 3 days of work to get through plus a weekend of only 2 folders plus I have the longer walking position also:( Don't think I will be doing anything this 4th of JUly but working. Hope all of you have great plans and enjoy the holiday! Hoping you all have a nice day and Sue, I can try blowing some of this cold air there if your still Hot?:) Catch you all later

Morning sisters,

Had one of those nights, of no sleep, so did make good use of it and did the computer room since I would have had to do it at nap time and this way I took sweet time doing it.

No workout today, hurt right knee over night and will get RLW in with dusting and cleaning today.

Great walk yesterday, Chris, and sounds like a wonderful time, enjoy! Plus enjoy that bike ride too.

Molasses, thanks on the workouts and glad you felt better yesterday. Glad the grout it finally done. I'd say you were getting RLW's in with the bending, scrubbing and polishing. Hope the handyman shows up and gets the job done today.

Bama, hope all is well and you are doing well too.

YAH, I too, hope your legs and feet are doing alright and you are getting the sleep you need for the work schedule....HUGS....

Well I am off to check mail, eat, and then finish the rest of the house, bum knee and all.

Tomorrow is shopping day.

Sorry about no sleep last night Sue and hope you get a good nap in later then:) And all good wishes on your shopping trip for sure! Middle son came out to put his new bike rack and trailer hitch on with Dh's help as his old bike rack just goes on his trunk and he doesn't want it to scratch it. I didn't know he was coming out or I could have got some boxes of pots and pans ready for him to put in garage for me but I got to go in sauna before it goes out;) So some other time I guess. If he has time as he's the one going GB. Nice sunny day so far but only 60's so good day for sauna.
Hope your headache stays away a long time Mo! Enjoy the furkids and your son and all now and you can get more work done later:) Glad your pretty much done the grout stuff:(
Bama, hoping your posts stay from now on. So far I guess I haven't put a weird word in or part of:) How are your aloe vera's doing? I have 3 of them in little pots in the house. You and the rest are doing so good with all the workouts!
Chris, have fun in Canada! I believe thats what I read as I read kind of fast to catch up a little:)
Welcome to the new one also and let us know how your doing etc.:) Off for paradise for 3 hrs.:)

Enjoy your sauna, YAH! Sounds like heaven, especially with the cooler weather. :) Glad you got in some "son time." :sunshine: Sounds like your other son had a nice time, too!

I'm sorry about your leg, Sue, and hope it's better in the morning.

day was downright weird, and I didn't get a workout in again. The handyman was running late, and didn't get here till 12:45. (I should have done workout first thing instead of expecting him to show up at the beginning of his window.) The whole day was just odd. For one thing, it was supposed to be 2 guys working for 3 hours. Instead there's one little Hispanic guy working, and one Asian guy pulling up a chair and supervising. I had taken the laminate off the mudroom floor this morning, and could see the subfloor was bad pretty far back. But when they took the subfloor off, you could see that all the joists were bad, too. So the Boss tells me he needs me to go get three 12' 2' x 10's, some joist hangers, screws, corner pieces, etc. I'm sitting here going, what? In Versa??? DH has a truck but a) it's a stick, which I don't drive, and b) there's only one key, and it's on DH's key ring and he's at work. (DS was upstairs napping so if we'd had the key, DH's truck would have been a possibility.) So anyway I had to call DD's MIL. Luckily she was willing to come pick me up and drive me to Lowe's in her little truck. So we go in and get the list items. Come back and unload the lumber. Boss says he needs two more of the 2'x10"s. So I have to ask her to drive me up there again. We go get the other lumber and unload it. She leaves. I go in dining room to see the items on table rearranged and a paper napkin in fruit bowl; apparently someone (just the boss, or both, I don't know, but I'm guessing just the boss) sat down for lunch while we were running his errands. Is it just me or is that weird???? Especially since I'm paying by the hour, and he is supposed to be working, which he isn't anyway. Also our house is a mother/daughter; they were supposed to be working on the other side; there was no reason for him to be over on this side. Anyway, the little guy did a lot of work, replacing all the floor joists and then topping it with the 3/4" plywood. He worked from 1 to 5. ( I kept bringing cold water bottles and giving them to the boss as he was in the doorway. Finally I started to wonder if the worker was even getting any, so I waited till Boss went outside before I brought the next round. :D ) At 5 they go upstairs to replace the toilet. Boss comes down and tells me they need a new wax ring and bolts (I had already provided these, but I guess they bent a bolt and smooshed the wax seal somehow.) So back up to Lowe's I go. At least that time I could drive own car, and DS was up so I didn't have to wonder what Boss was doing in house while I was gone! They finally finished around 8 p.m. and Boss starts totting up what I'm going to owe over the voucher I bought on Living Social. I had decided in head that I'd pay $500 extra but no more, so when he said $400, I just wrote him a check, but I thought he should have told me earlier that I was looking at extra charges, approx how much, etc. Then as he's leaving, he asks for more water. I only had one more cold one in the fridge, so I got a warm one out of the basement. DS said as they were leaving he heard Boss say, "cold one for me!" Anyway, I won't use him again, but I am glad to have the subfloor and all the joists replaced, and also the new toilet installed. Hopefully there won't be any problems and I won't feel ripped off.

Tomorrow strength training for sure!

Morning Sisters, Just stopping in to say Hi and let you know I am still around . I am so busy in the mornings. I think it's because DH is home all the time. I ye ye if that is how you spell it . I am on the way to Hancocks to find some Auburn Fabric . Now that Goose has moved I promised to make her an Auburn cheerleader outfit. She was just supposed to be visiting over last years Holidays but hasn't returned home yet . (you know I am talking about Cement Goose by the name of Tillie )

I did get out to walk for 30 minutes. Tomorrow being the Holiday I am planning on going to the mall and walking and window shopping. I only go there a couple times a year so it should be fun.

Happy Fourth everyone .

Enjoy your window shopping, Bama, and do post a picture of the outfit if you can. :) Yay on the walk!

I did get to strength training this morning even though it was a short night. (DH got home at 3:30 and I couldn't get back to sleep. I ended up getting up at 4:30, which I know is normal for Bama, but really early for me!)

Need to get out to run some errands today, and then do a little prep--the GF is coming tomorrow morning.

Wishing everyone a great weekend and a Happy Fourth of July! :sunshine:

Good day and I just want to wish you all a very Happy 4th of July and remember what it is we are celebrating also:) Guess I will be working the next 3 days so might not get on here much as I know how I get and will probably not get to anything going on either as legs will be sore. they are sore already and I haven't done much :( Probably be stopping to see son's also and thats about it, if their home or not. Guess the son that goes to GB is working Mon, Tues and Wed. and those are his last days at our place:( Will sure miss seeing him at work etc. I had a nice sauna anyway and besides quick showers, probably have a good one by Mon. or Tues. for sure after the weekend. I will have to do a lot of hauling and walking as I'm in the position that has the longer trips etc. and only 2 folders also. Wish me good acheless legs hey?
Wow Mo! I don't think I could just leave workers at house like that or was your DS up at all? Unless I knew them anyway. Long way to go get stuff here so they would be left a long time:) Glad you got it done though. Hope you get to relax a bit now with your family too and pet those furkids a lot now:) Was sunny here but cloudy up and warmer and more humid for me now coming up
Sue, hope you had a good shopping trip today and got home quickly too to enjoy the rest of the day! Is it still hot there? Was pretty cool here but getting a big warmer now.
Bama and Chris, great workouts too and I agree with the filtering also as it keeps it clean:) Hope your enjoying your holiday Chris and do enjoy the mall tomorrow Bama! If I wasn't working, I would love to be at the lower harbor and International Food Fest with all the people and then big fireworks Sat. night but too far out for me. Have a great 4th everyone and some good sleep's in between too!

Afternoon sisters,

Wow lots of chit chat, however, I will have to catch up tomorrow....as finished comics and off to nap. While our temp is only 91 with real feel 93, our dew point is a horrible.....64 with humidity at 40 and our AQ is in the RED zone. Wish I was with Katie (our manager here) and going to the coast. LOL

Those workers definitely sounded fishy.

The boss character should have sent one of his minions to get the work supplies, because regardless of who got them, they couldn't do much work without them, but they should have had the necessary transportation to do it, so it would have taken less time than you having to faff about calling an appropriate person to help you go there.

Plus if they had gone they might have got some kind of trade discount, whereas you wouldn't, without some kind of appropriate ID like a trade card, so what's to stop them factoring the higher price you paid into the final quote?

Definitely a few suspicious aspects of that scenario I feel.
