Good day all! Its middle son's bday today but I figure he might have plans so not imposing on him unless he lets me know anything:) I did tell him where I hid his card and gift by his room though as I thought I might not get there. Today is 'missing but found' niece's, or would be her bday also and a few others I know. Her older sis got married again and guess some of the family will be going up north later this month.
Sue, I sure hope all goes well with your Dh's appt. and you get home quickly also but wish you would feel better also? take care now and relax a bit:)
Mo, yep, not sticky here until I work I guess:( Seems to always work out that way. Nice days now but seems cloudy as we're getting smoke from Canada a lot again. I can imagine its a bit quiet there:(
Chris, good idea and thats what I would have to do also, exercise in front of a fan. I have one going anyway:) I do have patio door open to let some warm air in though:)
Bama, maybe they have a cat who is non-allergic? I know they have a dog like that:) Their hair must be different in some way. I sure miss a pet but not sure if I'm here a lot or not. I do get to enjoy them at son's and different places though:) I guess it would be hot there so I hope you sell soon.
Have a very nice day and enjoy your evening and have some good deep sleep also:) I'd like to see a termite do that Bossman:) :coffee:

Afternoon,

Comics finished and off to nap but wanted to say Good night....a very very long day...

Bossman, the pain was on left side of body and when I was young I had very very bad pains on that side, due to gas. Sorry I didn't make it clear it was lower down. I have a bad habit of staying stomach when I should say lower abdominal area and in the case mentioned it was on the lower left side. Chuck was in the anatomy program and going for his Ph.D.....so he is well verse in body parts LOL (now no snide comments about that Bossman LOL)

Glad you got to walk home Chris. Yeah our weathermen too, make mistakes....we call them LBOS's (lying buckets of s*&t) LOL

Great workout last night also. And another great walk to work too.

Bama, we had snow up in our Sierra's yesterday and supposedly today too. Yeah plus the humidity there doesn't help either. Thanks on the doctor's visit....more on that in email.

Yes, us too, every day is a "holiday" LOL

Awesome workout Molasses. It's a generic version gas pill from WM and it works fine with meds. Thanks for the doctor wishes...I will say that Handyride worked great as I said more in email.

I am sure Molasses, as YouTube seems to have everything.

A very Happy Birthday to middle son YAH. I see you let the "cat out of the bag" on his card and gift. Thanks on the doctor's visit and feeling better also. Glad not sticky there. Bummer on the smoky air.

Well I am off to meds, breathing and nap time...

Sue

I use to get stomach aches as a child and a hot bath would help for me. :)

Glad the handiride worked out ok Sue and hope you get a good nap and sleep great later also:)
I thought charcoal capsules are good for gas also but forgot? I have some but really haven't tried them and I think it was for that or bloating from Vitacost. I should look online again for that:)
I didn't see son today and really didn't do much. Guess I'll work Sat. and Try to see fireworks if no clouds and smoke too much and maybe go Marq. as no one is around there until Sun. night when son comes back with kids and gets them to daycare for Monday as DIL has to be at camp. They have parade down there on Sat. for him and kids to get too since DIL goes down Fri. Suppose to get hotter anyway for the weekend:( Today was nice but smoke made it look like it would rain, but none in the forecast for some days yet. Hope you all have a good night and some good dreams too:)

Good Morning All,
Had a busy day of training yesterday. Mostly mind was tired. I did gat a nice 30 minute walk home in but I took the rest of the night off. Today I have the bike and a ride to work and another one to get home later today.

Glad you had a nice day YAH! The fan is a necessity here right now. We have managed to go this long without AC but with our forecast we will be using it all weekend.

Hi F-t-Fit! Nice to see you found us over here. Pop in anytime. We use the warm relaxing bath for son at times as well. I much prefer non-medicinal treatments if I can.

Now I am going to have to surf youtube Boss Man!

Hope you got a great nap in Sue! Glad that Handyride cooperated. Sorry you are still feeling crummy! Hugs from the other side of the continent.

Great workout Mo! Yeah we are having a sticky humid week!

Great workout Bama! Best of luck with Jari if that is what you do. I think I am a year away from trying those again. elbow is healing but slowly. There is no way I am going too fast with this.

Good Morning Sisters,

Well today or this morning we have already cleaned out the gutters . we have a lot of Oak trees plus Pine trees and they need to be down every so often. Glad that is out of the way. I actually don't do anything but stand there while DH does the cleaning. I think he just wants me there just in case . Actually if he fell I wouldn't be able to catch him and way !!! but I could call 911 if it were bad.

That being done I have a couple of projects i need to do . One I am not in the mood for but I need to do it. I need to make Tilly( cement goose who went to visit Marie during the Christmas and hasn't returned home yet) a cheerleaders out fit . Foot ball will be here soon. Plus go though yard goods and get rid of some . Just no in the mood to sew anymore. An Auburn outfit as you know it is between Alabama and Auburn here . They go crazy when football season starts .

Sue hope you tummy is better this morning and Yah Happy Birthday to your middle son. Our birthdays are over until September.

Yah , We haven't had any pets since I got married except for Fish and a Hamster . Now both kids have pets . I guess we deprived them of something or other according to the experts . Now I really don't want one with going back and forth. But we enjoy other peoples.

Chris, how lucky to be able to find a bike to work . That's great exercise . I ended up not doing Jari Love this morning but did do 60 minutes of weights with cardio . A little cardio and then some weights , more cardio and them more weights. i liked it . It's a new DVD by Leslie Sansone who is the Walking indoor Queen (to me anyway) It's so hot here and feet just won't take the hard pavements anymore. I do miss walking out side tho especially on Sunday mornings. We have no sidewalks in area so during the week it can get dangerous. Sunday morning most are still in bed when I walk.

Sue i need to check mail to catch up with you.

Time to mosey on .

Hello to our newest member, Fat to Fit . Welcome aboard and jump in whenever you are ready .

Happy Weekend everyone .

Morning sisters,

I didn't get walking in last night, as I was exhausted and fell asleep. Heck I was dozing on and off during Castle and I love Caskett as you know....LOL

Welcome Fit to Fat.

Thanks YAH yes, we were pleased with the Handyride there and back. Oh yes I went into a very deep sleep during nap as I and Chuck too, were exhausted (lots of stressing does that to you LOL). More in email on the visit itself. Sorry you didn't get to see your son or do much. Hope Saturday's work day goes well with good workers, music, etc. Hope you get to see the fireworks too. Hope you get to Marq too. Hope your weekend plans come to fruition too. Also hope your son had a wonderful birthday.

Chris, ah yes training stuff....they love to fill up our mind don't they LOL Now if they only used ALL the stuff they made us train on and then NOT change the procedures mid way through GRRRRRR

Great walk home and I see a nice bike ride to and from work.

Thanks on the nap and Handyride and for the HUGS.

Bama, good idea that you are there to watch over hubby, whether can catch him or not you can get the call out to 911 and watch over him. Good luck with the Tilly outfit and I hope Tilly returns home soon. Good luck with the yard goods.

Thanks Bama, only the normal unsettled it gets after some Tapatio sauce the night before LOL

Oh for Pete's sake Bama, I don't you deprived them. As mom didn't have any either, though I had turtles and fish galore growing up also. Plus grandma had Sandy (her C Spaniel) who I adored.

Great workout I see this a.m. You, too, have a great weekend.

Well I am off to check mail quickly, breakfast, vacuuming and cleaning up some peppers and cooking up fish for tonight's dinner.

Have a good day,

Sue

Thanks Sue, MIL had dogs all their growing up years and she lived within walking distance So they weren't without . I had just forgotten about her dogs. We even brought one back from Florida for her one year .

Well Yoga for me this am . I tried a different DVD one by Sara Ivanhoe but it was a little to hard for me . I need to become more familiar with the moves before I venture into a harder one. So I went back to the one I did last week.

Nothing planned here today . Same old Saturday . May go to the used Book Store where they buy your books/dvds and see what their deal is. I have some to get rid of plus some DVDS that were 's that she has outgrown .

Have a good week end all. Remember to keep those muscles in motion .

Happy Saturday, Sweat Sisters!

I tried a new workout I got in an email this morning: For 15 min. you alternate between lunges with hammer curls, and bench presses, then after a 1 min. rest, it's 4 rounds of 20 sec of lateral jumps, 10 sec. rest, 20 sec. renegade row, 10 sec. rest. I added in 4 sets of triceps kickbacks since tris need more work than bis.

I also tried a goat whey protein in post-workout breakfast smoothie so it was a morning of new things. :D It wasn't bad but there was a hint of that distinctive goatiness that you get in goat cheese. If system tolerates it better than the cow whey, I can deal with the taste; we'll see if I get bloaty from it.

Great job on the yoga, Bama! A few weeks ago I bought a $5 Groupon for 3 mos. of online yoga (you can do unlimited workouts and then download 12 workouts to save to your computer); I'll probably activate it tomorrow since I got the laptop updated enough to play videos smoothly now. I like taking the classes, but it's so much easier and cheaper to do it at home!

Sorry you missed your workout, Sue, but it sounds like you needed the sleep! So glad your stomach is better now. Looking forward to your email. :)

Good job on all the walking and biking, Chris! Hope you have your usual fun, active weekend with your family.

Hope your son had a happy birthday, YAH. I forgot about charcoal, but I think you are right. It's a safe remedy, too, you just can't take it at the same time as prescription medications, because it can bind to the meds and prevent absorption. That's why they give it for poisoning. :) Hope you have an easy work day and get to see the fireworks, and also spend time in Marquette.

Wind Cheaters--too funny, Boss Man.

Speaking of funny and YouTube, has anyone seen the clip the TN woman made about "staying out the shark's house?" :Hahabonk: It's worth the 2 minutes, in opinion. Made me laugh anyway.

Have a great day, everyone~

Happy Sunday, Sweat Sisters,

I don't know if I ever am relaxed as that cat, Sue, but thanks. :D We do still have one cat--just Cooper left at home. I did hear from DS yesterday that Mr Kitty and GF's Simon have started playing together, although Simon is still not willing to befriend Chief. Chief is not a cat-botherer though, so I'm sure eventually he and Simon will be buddies, too.

I think I'm going to need to run Coop to the vet this week--one of his ears is very pink and hot, with that dirtiness that looks like maybe ear mites, and he's scratching it. I put a little olive oil in to soothe but that's just first aid and not a cure. :(

Today was Ashley Turner's Yoga for Strength for me.

Have a great day, everyone~

Good Morning Sisters,
Well I just got in from outside and it's only 7 30 am and very hot . I was hoping it would be cooler but it is not . . Digging up some Century plants the pups they may be called and then the huge one . May have to hire someone to do that . It is just taking over the yard . Got Weights done this morning. No workout yesterday but I kept busy cleaning out the file cabinet and Shredding it all. So I had a productive day yesterday . Now I need to get busy with the yard sale . It has been postponed until August 15 and I still have some sewing to do . Have a Healthy day all.

BBL . I swear I am just to busy . I need to go back to work at a job away from home !!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning All,
Well we did indeed have a great weekend. Took kids to the wading pool to play on saturday afternoon. Yesterday was even hotter so we opted to go to the beach so that we parents could play and cool off too! We have resorted to using the AC's at night to cool the place down for sleeping. Not favourite thing. Yesterday morning I did get a workout in. I did chest and abs. I have levelled up exercises a little and I am feeling the change. :thumb:
Kids camps are too far for me to use active transport this week so I am back to driving.
Looks like everyone had a good weekend.
Good morning Bama. Good workout for you! Careful with that heat.
