Hey boss man, I'm already ahead of ya. I mentioned to her that there were free classes to take as well but that she can take em when she is ready to. I'm trying in all power for her to feel comfertable there. Told her about struggles ect. And that I know where she's comin from. I also told her about which trainer to make her apointment with for her assessment. I also had given her an article I found about newbees at the gym and how to feel at ease once ur there.

Good for you. You CAN be a positive infuence on her and it looks like you are being.

I didn't think you'd really be anything else. You're growing in self confidence, belief and consistency too, so you can be proud of yourself and I think you're someone, who IS now ready to pass on some of your own previous experiences, because you probably won't fail to keep living up to your own examples.

So keep smiling and keep pushing on yeah. Still some way to go, but WELL DONE, you're doing great and there's plenty of people who are proud of you.

monthly measurement

Post by rockchick_82808 »

I decided to measure myself at this time of the month because if I decided to wait I would of been bloated..girls u know what I mean. lol

Here's improvement this month!

Right bicep= loss 1/2in
Left bicep= loss 1in
Tummy= loss 1 1/2 in
Hips= loss 1 1/2 in

Total inches lost= 4 1/2in!!!! woot woot!!!!! go me!

When I compare this to the inches gained from the holidays to what I was before the holidays arms had improved! as for hips they are back to where I was before December and tummy has 2 more inches to go.

Not to mention match sucks. Ok, I have a work out journal and used excel to create these pages that have the months and spots for me to fill in on measurements. I looked back at December and November comparing them. I realized that I had done math wrong. I actually gained 5in at the end of December not 7in like I had stated. That actually makes me much happier. Dumb pollack. lol gerr to bein polish. ha ha.

I did realize that I wont be makin it to the size 12 by birthday like I had hoped but...I would much rather see the numbers go down slowly than not at all. :)

Don't worry over that...you are really making great progress! I've no doubt you will be in that size 12 (or smaller!) before long...just keep focused, make positive and healthy food choices, keep your workouts consistent and challenging - and you will get there!

I can see the way the statistics equate to physical change. Especially in the hips area.

DEFINITELY things to be very proud of and hopefully the things I said to you in recent message convey feelings well and show you what other people think about your progress :).

Post by rockchick_82808 »

Guess who went from 217 to 215 this week. That's right ME! woo woo!

I have been doin great in the food department. Been keeping up eating three meals a day. I'm actually goin to sign up for a nutritional class at gym soon. I need a lil more guidance and I believe this will help a lot. We shall see.

Thanks ladies! :D

I just got back from the store today and tried on jeans wondering why the size 14 wasn't fitting? They were too small. I looked at the tag...low rise. No wonder. I wear high rise because I'm smaller there. So I bought these clearance jeans and decided on a new goal. To wear low rise jeans for the first time in life! I need to loose 9inches though. Its kinda intimidating but I know I will get there. I need to learn to reach out of comfort zone. I'm hoping to loose these inches by the summer. Its a lot to loose for me and I have never really set a time line on loosing anything because of all failures in the past, but this time...I'm gonna challenge myself.

Awesome!!! Although, you are breaking our little rule we had about losing only 1 pound a week... :wink: lol, but I guess I can let that slide...haha CONGRATS GIRL!!! You are doing fantastic. :D
I don't like to wear "low rise" jeans because all they do for me is let lower tummy and hips "RISE' up over the top of the jeans, so I look like a freakin' muffin! :shock: I hate that!!
And of course there is the whole "bending over and showing butt cleavage thing" - not a pretty sight, or at least not one I'm willing to share with coworkers and total strangers at Walmart when I bend over to get a can of tomato sauce on the bottom shelf! lol!!
But I agree, instead of avoiding wearing them, we should work harder to lose the weight that keeps us from wearing them, so I am with you on that.
I like your new pic too! I can see alot of change, more definition. You got it going on girl!! :D

You're doing great and the weight loss totals per week are not silly either, they're spot on pretty much.
