DIET help
I am almost 25 (female) and 149 lbs 5' 11". I work out weight and cardio 6 days a week 1 hour 45 min a day. I am not seeing results as fast as I would like. I know that I have fat to loose but the scale is not going down! So I was thinking that maybe I am as low as I can go and just need to tone. I am working out as much as I can handle (mentally!). I don't really get how to put the protien, carb, fat percentages into action. Can someone give me specific ideas of what I should be eating and of how much? Like if I am supposed to do 30% protien what that looks like as a meal. Thanks for the help.
it's easier to go on portion sizes but 100g of steak, chicken, turkey etc is about the same size so go buy some in 100g peices and see. It's about the palm of your hand size. As for carbs as long as you have lots of veg portions don't really matter as there's nothing in them anyway. i would say your training too much and not leting enough recovery time for muscle growth. Go to a 3 x weights and 2 x cardio a week plan with at least 2 full days off. you can do cardio same day or by itself doesn't really matter but try and make 1 of them a "sprints" session doing 5 - 10 x "the distance you can run as fast as you can for" which will vary because of fatigue with full walking rest (2 - 3mins). Get your share of healthy fats too either from fish or in supplement form
