As far as I know that kind of ketonic or ketogenic diet consists of 0 carbs whatsoever and I wouldn't reccomend it. proffessionla bodybuilders have bene known ot do it, but it does promote high ketone production and the ketones cna build up in the bloodstream and I beleive it's not vey nice, because I tikn it has some unwanted effects rslatign to the PH level of the blood, when done for a long period of time.

I've read of people doing it for about a month, but what's the point, because after a month, the only options would be.

1. Add carbs back, creating a caloric surplus some of which would convert to fat, assuming that another macronutrient hadn't been increased to keep the calories the same.

2. Add carbs in and replace around teh same number of fat calories to maintain calories, which could increase fat storage, by allowing the body to need less "backup energy" when getting more of it's primary energy, so more previously sourced fat might not get used and therefore remain subcutaneously and possibly viscerolly as well.

3. Replace some protein with carbs to maintain calories, which could cause a bit of muscle loss, potentially reduce calorie burning efficiency and if so promote a little more fat gain.

So to be honest unless you're a pro bodybuilder I don't rate this. Eating a bit less carb and replacing it with the equivalent amount of fat calories, to maintain the calories and allow the body to need more secondary energy, to make up the energy needs primary energy couldn't completely supply, would be okay in mind as long as you didn't drop below I'd say 20g carbs per meal and I wouldn't call this ketotonic or ketogenic, unless the diet plan involved 0 carbs at all.
