quest for the ultimate diet

Frozen vegetables (I'll be eating these with meals)

Salad ingredients (I'll be putting this in salad)
-Iceberg lettuce

-Vinegar & Olive Oil / Sesame oil

Protein sources
-Pea protein powder
-Eggs
-Chicken breasts
-Chicken drumsticks
-Chicken boneless thighs
-Turkey breasts
-Turkey drumsticks
-Ground beef
-Chopped cow meat
-Minced lam
-Lamb chops
-Lamb thighs

Carb sources:
-Brown rice
-White Rahmani rice

Plan B ingredients:
Quark (I am lactose intolerant, so it'd do good if I can avoid all lactose products, but if I need proteins I'll take this up)

Hi Red, good to speak with you.

I'd avoid decaff coffee, as one of the methods used to make it requires the beans to be jet washed with a carcinogenic chemical, so drinking it could increase your risk of cancer, because logically even if you called the manufacturers hotline, they wouldn't admit to using a cancerous chemical to make the product, so you couldn't be sure if the particular brand you were drinking was made using the other methods like soaking or jet washing the beans in water.

As for the quark, if you're lactose intolerant it would seem illogical to have quark in your diet for any reason.

You could try doing research into a product like Lacto Free as that has no lactose, so you can then have dairy products without the associated issues the galactose molecule in the lactose disaccharide causes.

Thank you Boss Man. I didn't know that about decaff coffee.
It's quite useless anyway. Also you're right about lactose. I went off lactose for a week recently and could clearly see a difference in energy levels.
