Yah, I said Abs and it shows, lol.

Trying for the 6 pack now to see if I can motivate myself more in this area. The one other training I sometimes hate is cardio. LOL

So far, in training abs I feel better and more solid, also feeling straighter in standing and less back ache so I think for now I'm continuing with ab training.

types of exercises,

cable crunches
side bends
horizontal leg raises
crunches
ab machine at gym (sit down and "crunch" weight towards your knees)
back arche machine (reverse the ab machine pretty much)

Looking at starting walking lunges with weight over head

also tues and thurs are swimming days (I stick mainly to breast stroke HR @ about 114-126 after 1/2 hour of lengths)

vampy you're doing ab training which won't do a great deal...the exercises are easy, don't make you stronger and bigger and won't burn any calories

best "direct" core exercoses:

- prone ab brace
- side ab brace
- landmines
- reverse crunches

best indirect core exercises:

- deads
- squats
- shoulder presses
- lunges
- chin ups
- overhead squats
- o lifts

don't ever do hyperextensions

cool, started doing plank today 3x 30 sec. 1min rest between. Is that the same as prone ab brace?

landmines ? side ab brace ? reverse crunches (how do you reverse a crunch?)

indirect do all but overhead squats and don't know o lifts
