When did you become unhappy with your weight?
When I was looking at the pictures from my 2005 summer vacation.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I really wanted to look better. Also I come from a family with a big diabetes history.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I changed my diet and begin to workout daily.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
For me the hardest part wasn’t the diet or sticking to the routine, it was the people around me. Having to explain to others the need of losing weight and why I didn’t want to eat certain foods.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
3 months. I am not following a strict diet but I am not eating junk food. Besides I love going to the gym and that helps a lot.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
My self esteem has improved a lot, which has helped me in my personal and professional life. I participated in a beauty contest and from then I have been invited to some events as a model. I am thinking about getting ready to participate in a fitness competition next year.
How did ShapeFit help you reach your weight loss goals?
Well I love trying the workouts and also like the fat burning tips. Besides looking at the success stories was a real inspiration to me.

3 egg whites and a slice of “fat free, sugar free” wheat toast.
Chicken breast or fish and green salad or a small turkey sandwich with tomato, cucumber, lettuce, alfalfa sprouts (NO cheese or mayo).
Chicken and a small salad.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
10:00 am and 7:00 pm – Protein shake with cinnamon and half banana. Apple with peanut butter.
Ana’s Weight Loss Workouts!
45 minutes per workout, 5 days a week (weightlifting using dumbbells).
Spinning 4 days a week (45 minutes per session), and 15 minutes on the treadmill.
