Chantel’s Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I had issues with my waist size. I was athletic, but could never tone or lose the extra pounds.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I made myself enter a figure competition because I was sick of complaining about it and nothing ever changed.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Diet! I always exercised, but never considered diet to be equally important.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
It was a huge commitment between training and diet, but the hardest was giving up sweets until cheat days.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
It took 2 weeks on a clean diet to see my weight drop, but my energy increased within 3 days.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
I lost 20 pounds slowly in 9 months, but lost 36 pounds in the last 3 months.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I am within my 10 pounds of my competition weight a month later and plan to maintain until my next contest diet. I did it with a lean diet and exercise plan.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I feel so much more confident and happy with my personal success. I accomplished a goal I never thought would be obtained a year ago.
How did ShapeFit help you reach your weight loss goals?
ShapeFit’s fitness forums have really helped and seeing pictures of models and competitors. The success stories were another major bonus.

Stick with it. Fight from deep within and don’t let anything steer you off your goal.

Chantel’s Weight Loss Workouts!
4 days of weight training: back/biceps, legs, shoulders and chest/triceps. I lift to failure, averaging 12-15 reps per set.
I love my 30 minutes of high/low intensity training on the treadmill. I love stairs for toning my hamstrings and glutes.
