Christy’s Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I can’t recall a time I was ever happy with my weight but when I realized the baby girl in my lap was relying on me to live, it was quite the epiphany.
What made you decide to lose weight?
My daughter was tickling me and reached in to tickle my stomach and her hand disappeared in my chub rolls.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I went from eating once a day to every 2 hours like clockwork. I ate EXTREMELY clean and I actually got off my rump and started working out.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Rededicating myself to the goal each day. Setting small, attainable goals in the beginning and not being overwhelmed with discouragement or fear of failing.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
After the first week I could tell a difference in my energy, rest, etc. The inches were melting away after the first 30 days.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
4 years. I don’t even think about it anymore. My mind and body are addicted to the lifestyle. It’s innate in me.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
OMG! Not sure I can put into words. I opened my own health and wellness business doing personal training, nutrition and corporate wellness. I’m a professional model and fitness competitor. All of that is such a blessing but the greatest change of all is knowing I’m setting a lasting impression on my daughter. Being the model of health she deserves so she can become confident and secure, both mentally and physically to be a healthy young woman.

Christy’s Weight Loss Workouts!
I love my muscles so I lift 4-5 days a week. I do a lot of plyometric body weight exercises with less rest periods.
3-4 days a week. Jumping rope is my favorite because I can get a killer cardio workout in less time.
