Craig’s Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
After years of lifting weights and not seeing results.
What made you decide to lose weight?
All the hard work I put into gaining muscle and not being able to see it through the fat!
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Skipping breakfast. It turns out that your body is a fat burning furnace when you wake up in the morning but the fat burning senses get interrupted by food, especially if you eat carbs in the morning. At the very least you should avoid carbs at breakfast.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
It was very easy once I gained the scientific knowledge and stopped listening to so called “gurus”. The science is all there!
How long did it take you to start to see results?
In the first ten days I lost 10 pounds!
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I’m still at my current weight but I’m increasing overall muscle mass and still burning fat.
What keeps you motivated to continue your weight loss success?
My goal of lowering my body fat percentage.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I have more confidence now.
Do you have any advice for others who are trying to lose weight?
I started reading a book called The Carb Nite Solution which explained the human body in understandable terms. The book covered the science and evidence that we know to be fact, no hogwash. It was just pure science based nutrition. It was a total eye opener. It has changed the way I look at food and I’m now looking to become a personal trainer.

Weight loss tip #1:
Skip breakfast for at least a couple of hours.
Weight loss tip #2:
Keep carbs to a minimum for 6 nights per week.
Weight loss tip #3:
Train smart. Do not overtrain.
Weight loss tip #4:
Indulge in carb laden foods one evening a week to reintroduce higher leptin levels to burn fat. A cheat night actually makes the diet work.

I don’t eat breakfast.
Bacon and eggs.

Salmon and broccoli.
I don’t currently take any supplements.

I use the Shockwave protocol for my weight training workouts.
I don’t really do much cardio. I focus more on weights.
