Dustin’s Weight Loss Story!

When did you become unhappy with your weight?
Most of my life.

What made you decide to lose weight?
After seeing pictures from my wedding and not liking any of the pictures that I’m in. It was embarrassing for anyone to see them.

What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I started experimenting with a diet that worked for me, which was a little difficult since I’m a picky eater and don’t like salad. Following that, I joined a local gym close to my house. Trying it at home would not work for me since I’ve tried that several times.

What was most challenging about losing weight?
Staying motivated.

How long did it take you to start to see results?
1 week before I noticed the scale change.

How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
14 months.

How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
6 months and I diet all week long so that I can splurge some over the weekend.

How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I have my own adult softball team and I’m always working out and going places.

Buy a scale. It wont lie to you.

Find a proper diet. Don’t try cutting corners.

Weight loss tip #4:
Sign up at a gym. You are more apt to go when you are paying.

Weight loss tip #5:
Have an MP3 Player so you can concentrate on you.

Dustin’s Weight Loss Eating Plan!

Breakfast:
dustin-weight-loss-350 grams of protein powder, 1 banana and a 90 calorie granola bar.

Lunch:
50 grams of protein powder, 1 small bag of sun chips and 1 turkey sandwich.

Dinner:
Grilled chicken breast and green beans for carbohydrates.

Snacks or Mini Meals:
90 calorie granola bar, green grapes or an apple at 9am and 3pm.

Weight Training:
I lift light weights with a lot of reps.

Cardiovascular:
Elliptical was the calorie burner for me.
