When did you become unhappy with your weight?
When I finally stepped onto a scale and it was over 250 pounds.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I have three children I need to keep up with!
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I never did anything for myself until I started with my weight loss journey. I completely changed my lifestyle to eat more healthy and workout at least 6 days a week.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Everyone just wishes that the weight would just disappear. It’s the patience of waiting for it to happen that is hard.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
I lost a lot of weight in 5 months. I started seeing results when I lost at least 25 pounds. Now that I have lost 90 pounds, I’m a completely different person. People don’t even recognize me!
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
5 months of hard, hard, hard work!
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I still want to lose another 30 pounds and to do that I need to continue to watch what I eat and workout 6-7 days a week.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I am more active with my children, I am more confident, I am healthier, and my husband looks at me like he used to!

Do not weigh yourself everyday!

Leave your frustrations at the door when you are walking into the gym. You need a clear mind and focus on yourself when you are working out.

Jennifer’s Weight Loss Eating Plan!
Egg whites, dry toast, fat-free yogurt.
Dry salads with lots of veggies including broccoli, peppers, carrots, pickles, etc.
Boneless skinless chicken breast, steamed vegetables, and a sweet potato.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Fat free sugar-free popsicles, unsalted peanuts, dark chocolate.
Jennifer’s Weight Loss Workouts!
I took a Powerflex class twice a week that consisted of using barbells, dumbbells, bands, etc. It worked every muscle.
I took a cycling class twice a week that was my cardio as well as running 3-4 miles, 3 times a week.
