When did you become unhappy with your weight?
My entire life.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I really noticed how bad I was letting my self go on July 4, 2011. I couldn’t believe how I looked in the photos! I had let myself get so big and didn’t care what I was eating or drinking. It also made me sick because all I wanted to do was sleep and do nothing when all my son wanted to do was go outside and play or just to get off my butt and do something. I knew I needed a big change for my son and myself.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I cut back on sodas and fast food.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
I was all by myself. My family supported me but still kept their old eating habits and its pretty hard because we all live under the same household so fast food, sodas, greasy foods are all over. This was a big challenge but I had to discipline myself because I was going to have to face this everyday, so I might as well face it at home and make myself really strong.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
2 months. I noticed changed in pictures and by taking measurements.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
3 1/2 months.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I eat healthy, drinks lots of water (or green tea) and also maintain daily exercise 5 days a week with two days of rest.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
OMG, I feel awesome! I’m never drained or tired and I’m so full of energy. I really wish I could have done this my whole life! Then it wouldn’t be so hard sometimes.

I love reading other people’s amazing weight loss stories. They inspired me to work harder because if they did it, so can I.

Cardio is my favorite! I love getting my heart rate up and feeling my body sweat the fat away. Jillian Michaels is who I watch on DVD to do my daily workouts. She works the whole body to get toned and burn major calories!
