Jillian’s Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
When I realized just how much I weighed! I never knew it was that bad until I stepped on the scale at 207 pounds.
What made you decide to lose weight?
I wanted to be healthy and enjoy life. I wanted to be able to go out and do things and dress how I wanted to.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I generally eat better. I make sure I have enough to eat and make better choices. I also exercise a lot in many different forms and I try to keep it fun. I didn’t take any pills or use crazy fad diets to lose the weight.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
After losing half the weight and then realizing that my body required different types of food and exercise to continue to lose fat. I think it was hard to realize that I needed to eat more calories as I built muscle and became more active because I felt it would make me gain weight.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
In the first couple of weeks I noticed a difference in the way I felt but it was about a month in that I noticed my clothing was too big for me, and it was great!
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
About 5 months and I have kept it off for almost a year.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
Almost 1 year. I do different activities and have fun with it. I also let myself have things that I crave without going overboard.
What keeps you motivated to continue your weight loss success?
The way I feel! I have more energy and I feel amazing. I also love watching and helping my friends and family have success.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I am able to go out and do things and be active. I don’t hide anymore under big clothing and I feel great. I have also been able to help friends and family lose weight which feels great.
Do you have any advice for others who are trying to lose weight?
Find what works for you. Just because a friend had success with some kind of diet program doesn’t mean it is right for you. I think everyone needs a good balance.

I love seeing other people’s weight loss success stories and I think it’s motivating to know other people struggle and have success.

Jillian’s Weight Loss Eating Plan!
Protein shake with mixed berries, whey protein, yogurt and water in a blender. It’s delicious!
Salad with grilled chicken or shrimp.
Grilled salmon or steak with brown rice and lots of veggies.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Mixed berries with vanilla Greek yogurt.
I take a multivitamin from GNC (Women’s Ultra Mega Active).
Jillian’s Weight Loss Workouts!
I do arms and abs then the next day I do legs then skip a day and just do cardio, then I repeat.
I love kickboxing! I’ve done some indoor rock climbing as well as the Arc machine which is my favorite.
