When did you become unhappy with your weight?
My wife was losing a lot of weight and I looked really weird standing beside her. She was definitely my inspiration!
What made you decide to lose weight?
My wife was looking so good and I was just the fat guy with her!
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Exercise and diet. Mostly exercise. I workout with free weights and I ride the bicycle pretty much every day!
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Being disciplined to exercise every day.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
2 months. I lost about 38 pounds the first 2 months!
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
3 months. I ride my bike at least 15 miles every day! Sometimes 30 miles!
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
Life is totally different. My wife and I are now the talk of the town.
How did ShapeFit help you reach your weight loss goals?
ShapeFit.com gave me plenty of different exercises I could do. I still go to the web site to find new & exciting exercises! I bought a used free weight bench. This thing had about 30 exercises that could be done on it, but the problem was that the guy I bought it from had thrown away the exercise chart. I went online, and with the help of a search engine, I landed on ShapeFit’s web site. The exercises listed, along pictures, was a VERY big help. I still to this day, check out other exercises. I change my workout every 5 weeks! ShapeFit, you guys were always an inspiration to me, THANKS!

Whole wheat cereal, with fruit.
Chicken, baked, with a lot of vegetables.
Salad with chicken or turkey added, with fat-free dressing.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Chocolate pie made from sugar-free, fat-free pudding and whipped cream.
Joey’s Weight Loss Workouts!
6 days of hard weight training. Rotating upper body and lower body muscle groups every other day.
30-45 minutes on an elliptical trainer, and/or riding 5-30 miles on my bicycle.
