    Matthew’s Weight Loss Story!

    When did you become unhappy with your weight?
    Around age 17.

    What made you decide to lose weight?
    I wanted to join the Army.

    What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
    My diet and exercise plan.

    What was most challenging about losing weight?
    Staying away from comfort foods.

    How long did it take you to start to see results?
    About two months.

    2 years.

    How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
    I feel a lot better about myself, and I’m now able to help others in their battle.

    Matthew’s Weight Loss Tips!

    Weight loss tip #1:
    Eat regularly and do not skip meals.

    Weight loss tip #2:
    Exercise with lots of cardio.

    Surround yourself with positive people.

    Weight loss tip #4:
    Always be positive.

    Weight loss tip #5:
    Never give up! It is not a change of diet, but rather a change of lifestyle.

    Matthew’s Weight Loss Eating Plan!

    Breakfast:
    matthew-weight-loss-story-24 boiled eggs, and two pieces of wheat toast.

    Lunch:
    Tuna salad with a regular salad on the side, fat-free dressing.

    Dinner:
    Grilled chicken, steamed veggies, and some fruit.

    Snacks or Mini Meals:
    Protein shakes, or Crystal Light water.

    Matthew’s Weight Loss Workouts!

    Weight Training:
    I’m currently powerlifting and training to build mass. I have an extremely strenuous workout routine that is definitely not advisable for someone trying to actually lose weight.

    Cardiovascular:
    Elliptical trainer, rock climbing, treadmill, or stair stepper. I do any one of those for 60 minutes.
