Sophy’s Weight Loss Story!

When did you become unhappy with your weight?
As soon as I had my baby. I had my son by C-section. I got home from the hospital a few days later and weighed myself. I weighed 211 pounds! When I recovered, I started to walk lightly for 30 minutes. Now, I do 30 minutes on a stationary bike and also eat healthy.

What made you decide to lose weight?
Health and appearance.

What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Eating and exercising.

What was most challenging about losing weight?
Exercising daily. Before starting, I had not exercised in 9 months.

How long did it take you to start to see results?
About 2 weeks after having my baby. My first pair of maternity pants were extra large! Now I can fit into a large.

How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
38 days.

How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
Only 38 days and I’m still losing weight. I eat right and exercise 30-60 minutes every day!

How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I feel so much better physically. My hips don’t hurt anymore and since the pregnancy, I’m walking normal.

Breakfast:
Special K cereal with Splenda and fat-free milk.

Lunch:
A Lean Cuisine meal.

Dinner:
A basic salad with tomatoes and lite dressing and grilled meat.

Snacks or Mini Meals:
Fat-free yogurt, Special K bar, fruit.

Sophy’s Weight Loss Workouts!

Weight Training:
I have not started weight training yet.

Cardiovascular:
I take my kids to the park and walk an average of 30 minutes. I also like to ride my stationary bike at home for another 30 minutes.
