    Stephanie’s Weight Loss Story!

    When did you become unhappy with your weight?
    After I gave birth to my daughter.

    What made you decide to lose weight?
    When I weighed myself at my mom’s house, it read 209 pounds on the scale! I honestly thought to myself that her scale was way off! I didn’t really realize that I had gained so much weight. I thought that I was about 185 pounds or so. I stepped on many different scales and realized that they all read the same (209 pounds). That is when I decided to make a life changing decision to not only feel good about myself and how I look, but also for my health and my family. I went on a “diet” with low calories for about 2 weeks and I lost 10 pounds. I looked into Weight Watchers and I forced myself to join and have since lost 26 pounds! I am amazed and so proud of how dedicated I have been along with how committed I am and how great I feel. It’s the best thing when you see someone you haven’t spoken to in a while and they notice how good you look or when I notice when guys are checking me out (although I’m married, it still feels great to know that I’m eye candy). I am going to keep this up in hopes to get to my goal of 135-140 pounds!

    What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
    Being honest, determined, committed and devoted.

    What was most challenging about losing weight?
    I still battle the challenge at times because I’m still losing weight, but I would say snacking is the toughest. It’s hard when you think “it’s just 2 points” but it may be 2 more points than you are allowed for the day.

    How long did it take you to start to see results?
    I started dieting and then I joined Weight Watchers earlier in the year. I have since lost 36 pounds.

    How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
    3 months.

    How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
    I’m still in the process.

    How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
    Dramatically! I’m a happier person all around. I’ve gained so much confidence and my intimate life with my husband has greatly improved due to my confidence and feeling comfortable in my own body.

    Stephanie’s Weight Loss Tips!

    Weight loss tip #1:
    You have to be committed.

    Weight loss tip #2:
    You have to WANT to lose weight.

    Weight loss tip #3:
    Drink LOTS of water.

    Weight loss tip #4:
    Eat portioned meals.

    Weight loss tip #5:
    Actually eat. Don’t starve yourself.

    Stephanie’s Weight Loss Eating Plan!

    Breakfast:
    Light English muffin with a slice of American cheese and 2 slices of Oscar Mayer Canadian bacon. Or, I have a peanut butter and oats protein bar.

    Lunch:
    I usually have Smart Ones meals that are already portioned out.

    Dinner:
    Smart Ones meals, or a portioned home cooked meal.

    Snacks or Mini Meals:
    I don’t have any snacks that are over 3 points.

    Stephanie’s Weight Loss Workouts!

    Weight Training:
    I haven’t really worked out much but I do feel that it is a very important part of weight loss and it also helps to tone up the skin.

    Cardiovascular:
    I’m not doing any cardio right now.
