Tony’s Weight Loss Story!
When did you become unhappy with your weight?
October 8th, 2009.
What made you decide to lose weight?
Inspired by a good friend who lost 20 stones (280 pounds) in exactly 12 months. He is now helping me on my weight loss journey.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Healthy eating with no real exercise involved. I know that sounds strange but I have not once gone to a gym or walked over 2 miles since I started this program.
What was most challenging about losing weight?
Seeing my cholesterol drop to 4.7, my blood pressure being normal, feeling great and my clothes falling off me.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
I lost 39 pounds in my first 4 weeks. When I went for my weigh in on the 6th of November I weighed in at 438 pounds, its then that I knew that I could follow this journey to the end and achieve my weight loss target of 238 pounds in year one.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I am still on my weight loss journey and I am losing on average of 5.2 pounds per week, so I have not reached my goal yet but my mental ability and my determination are keeping me going. That is how I am able to do this plus the fact that I am eating the right foods six times a day.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I can walk better, breathe better, bend down and tie my shoe laces. I am more healthy all around, I am fitting into smaller clothes and I have inspired people here in my local community to start losing weight as well.

Eat six small meals a day.
Weight loss tip #3:
Eat plenty of fish, chicken and turkey.
Weight loss tip #4:
Drink an average of two liters of water a day.
Weight loss tip #5:
Take one meal and one day at a time (very important).
Tony’s Weight Loss Eating Plan!
Porridge and a cup of black tea.
Grilled chicken breast and 9 or 10 large grilled mushrooms with lettuce and a tomato.
Fish or turkey breast, with two large mugs of vegetables.
Snacks or Mini Meals:
Two slices of turkey or chicken mid morning (11am). The same again mid afternoon (4pm), mug of black tea and a low-fat cereal bar at 9pm at night.
