How much did you lose (pounds, inches, dress/pants size)?
I lost 104 pounds and 11 inches!
When did you become unhappy with your weight (were you overweight as a child or did you gain weight as an adult)?
I have always been unhappy with my weight but it didn’t really get bad until I graduated from high school and then a bunch of bad habits started.
What made you decide to lose weight?
When I looked in the mirror I can honestly say I didn’t know who I was looking at! It was just unbelievable in my mind that I had let my weight get so far out of control.
What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I started changing the way I ate and then after I started seeing results, I began working out with weights and doing cardio exercise.
What was the most challenging thing you had to deal with during your weight loss journey?
The most challenging thing for me was probably the cravings for certain foods, especially at night.
How long did it take you to start to see results?
Within the first week I noticed big changes.
How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
It took me about 5 months to lose the weight.
How long have you maintained your weight loss and what are the most important factors for keeping it off?
It’s an ongoing process. I am still trying to lose more fat and build more muscle.
What keeps you motivated to continue your weight loss success?
I keep pictures of myself and look at them when I have cravings to eat cheat foods.
How has your life changed now that you have lost weight?
I am a lot more active now and much happier with myself.
Do you have any advice for others who are trying to lose weight?
Do not give up, especially when the results aren’t coming as quickly as they did when you first started your journey. Remember, it takes time.

I drink a juice supplement along with a multivitamin.

I try to lift weights about 4-5 times per week.
What do you do for cardio training (exercises, workouts)?
I do at least 30 minutes of cardio every day.
