I started playing rugby at the age of 11 at school in the UK. I was always had a slim build and when I started playing senior level rugby at 16 and joined the Dutch U-19 and U-21 my coaches told me I had to put some muscle mass on in order to compete at that level. So began my love affair with the gym. Once I started training my passion for exercise and fitness really grew. So I looked into how I could turn my passion into a profession and combined my degree in graphic design with several courses in personal training.
