Running and Bedroom Performance: Will it Help or Hurt Your Love Life?

Facebook Twitter Pinterest LinkedIn Tumblr Email

If losing weight and improving your heath are not enough motivators to get you running, how about improving your love life ? Sure, running or any other form of exercise can help you spice up your love life for good. The reasons why exercise is good for you is endless, but you may not know that studies have found a direct link between leading a sedentary lifestyle and lack of potency in the bedroom. So, running will increase your potency and it also makes the bedroom experience more enjoyable. If you’re not convinced yet, here are some of the ways that running definitely improves performance and your overall enjoyment of the experience.

Fun in The Bedroom and Cardio Endurance
To be able to perform in the bedroom for a given time, you need to have a basic cardio endurance level. Otherwise you won’t be able to keep up with your partner without having to take a rest every now and then. Fortunately, running is an excellent form of cardiovascular exercise. It trains the heart to perform at the highest levels, meaning it boosts your endurance through the roof. As a result, your performance will improve as a result of improved endurance level.

    Running Makes You Feel Better
Feeling attractive makes up the bulk of great performance in the bedroom. No doubt about it! Luckily, people who run on a regular basis have an improved body image and are generally healthier, younger and have more attractive bodies over people who do not exercise. Loving your body and being comfortable with it leads to better and more relaxed performance in the bedroom. Therefore, the better you feel, the more fun you’ll have.

    Running Reduces Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile dysfunction is men’s enemy number one and it’s often caused by circulatory problems. In order to have a full performance, blood must go to the right places. Therefore, any problem or irregularity such as blocked arteries, high blood pressure or other cardiovascular problems can interfere with that process, thus causing erectile dysfunction. Nevertheless, running keeps your heart and arteries healthy, and thus minimizing the likelihood of erectile dysfunction and boosting your confidence in the bedroom.

Performance in The Bedroom and Overtraining
Running more and more won’t make you a god in the bedroom. On the contrary, overdoing exercise has the opposite effects. In fact, overtraining is one of the biggest killers of testosterone (a major hormone). It actually diminishes your bedroom appetite and overall performance and leads to a myriad of other health problems. Stay away from overtraining at all costs and make sure to get enough rest and recovery after your workouts!

Balance is always the key. To have a healthier and better love life, you must keep your running in balance. Doing too much will backfire on you. A balanced running program is one that gets you running three to four times week, for 30-45 minutes each session. Of course, the length and intensity of each workout depends on your fitness level and training goals. Nonetheless, if you feel that you’re running too far or too fast, slow down and enjoy the scenery. Exercise is about improving your life, not the other way around. And always remember to stay within your fitness level.
