For sure you can bring dried fruit and things to stash as well! I take a food bag around with me even just when going out for the night. But since you are on vacation, I'd say indulge a little, maybe sleep in and enjoy the occassional treat! Surely the pleasure of the small slice of cheese cake outw...

Confused about Strength training/weight loss

Hi!

I've lost 10 lbs (down to 160lbs) but hit a plateau and decided to do HIIT.

On days off HIIT, I have been strength training, but I wanted to know if I should be doing it to overload? main goal right now is to lose.

Thanks,

hurrah! - if the only place you find stuck up people is at the gym! People who suck are everywhere! :(
But really, that's their problem not mine!

Shoulder Press

Hi!

I heard doing shoulder press' can result in a large muscle at the front of your shoulder.

I was wondering what other exercise can be used to counter this build up by creating muscle on the other shoulder areas?

Thanks,

So I'm trying to lose weight, but I should still be strength training right? Presently I'm ditching old program in favor of: Day 1 = HIIT Day 2 = strength Day 3 = HIIT Day 4 = strength Day 5 = HIIT Day 6 = strength Day 7 = off HIIT is going to be sprint intervals. I'm starting tomorrow. Does this lo...

I am doing 3 sets 15 reps of lunges per leg, they're beginners step back lunges, should I trade this in for something else?

Also, how many exercises should strength training include? Originally I have 8, trying to include one for every muscle group.

Thanks,

Question, are squats effective without a bar? I do 3 sets 45 reps but do not have a bar. Should I be lifiting something while I do them? Can I lift DBs?

Thanks, evilT

I did increase weights from using 5lb DBs to using 8lbs DBs (and 10lbs for some exercises) Now I'm thinking it's better to invest in a bar than DBs,,, ...
