Calorie Surplus

For mass gaining purposes (buking)

I know its maintenance calories plus 500+
do you keep adding every 2 weeks or do you just bulk up with those calories.

ex.

2500 cals. + 500

do I add 300-400
every 2 weeks

Dumbbell Curls

I like using dumbells but when it comes to dumbell curls I hate doing dumbbell curls because I never feel a good contraction, as hard as I squeeze upon contraction I dont get the "tight feeling" in biceps. The way I do DB curls I lock them next to sides slightly let them go forward once im...

Re: SORENESS

I work out chest once a week on Mondays,
do you mean if I wait too long between sets??

And as a matter of fact chest feels sore
it usually takes 2 days for the soreness to kick
in.

So your saying that if I feel sore it isn't good?

SORENESS

Hello everyone, I usually do 12 sets for chest and I get pretty sore, For last workout I reduced it to 9 sets, just to see how muscle would react to fewer sets and I didnt get sore. Is soreness a good sign or bad??? and I rarely get sore from biceps? does that mean im not working the hard enough?

How do you keep track of your progress

I was wondering how its possible to keep track of your progress. Say for example on a Chest day you do Incline BB press and you record your sets and reps the following week you replace that exercises for lets say a DB press from what ive read, you shouldnt train the exact same way as the recent week...
