I'm not so sure. I bet when Saddam Hussein had some Kurds gassed, or Bin Ladan found out those planes had hit their targets, they enjoyed such evil endeavours, but I wouldn't class them as making a success at being human. Both enjoyed life, but both failures right up to their last.
