Monday is such a hectic day. I didn’t even get to finish first meal and I just got a sad news. :( only friend at work just gave her 2 weeks notice… sigh… Ohwell.. I’ll make career change when it’s time! Anyways…

I went out and bought 4 small/Med size lunch boxes (Cute ones) so I can cook and spread each meals evenly. goal is 300-350 cals per meals:
(350 cals x 5 meals) = 1,750 Cals per day.

I'm trying to have 1600-1750 cals per week... Depending how body reacts to it, I might increase or decrease. Although I don't think I will decrease it because I will be working out like "crazy"... At the moment, I think I should be fine with that amount... The main thing is sticking to it!!!

I lost motivation somewhere after wedding but right now… I have the determination to get started again. The 60 days is a start motivation but I hope I will continue the healthy eating/workout for myself and long term! :P

I got myself thinking... I need to be a role model for future kids. I want to have a healthy body when I give birth. After I give birth, I want kids to have a healthy eating habits & life style… There are way too many obese kids – heart aches! :(

In order for me to influence future kids, I need to make small changes now and continue to educate myself. Don't get me wrong. I'm not going to change over night... but I'm going to work on making better & healthy choices! I know it will be up to me and husband as parents to lead the way for our kids so I need to start now!

Change overnight often leads to poor or inadequate results.

Change for the long-term is a more measured approach that can yield results. You can find that balance between getting physical improvement and not having to take an age to get it, but if you're patient and keep believing it CAN happen, because you ARE worth it :-).

Great job, Nokie! We must keep each other motivated! I didn't do insanity today - muay thai killed me. During sparring, some dude with knee problems used his dang knee brace as a weapon and hurt knee. Now I have knee problems! :x

Tuesday: 10/2/12

7:30AM – Egg whites, mushrooms, tomatoes, whole grain flaxseed tortilla wrap, coffee
11:00AM – Sesame melba crackers, low fat string cheese
1:00PM - Sesame melba crackers, low fat string cheese
3:00PM – Spicy green papaya, grilled chicken, sticky rice
8:30PM – Brown rice 1/2c, grilled chicken, spinach

I didn’t get to eat the food I packed for work because I left work at 9:00AM. I got a call from dad’s dialysis nurse & told me that the ambulance took him to the Emergency room due to severe chest pain. I rushed out and the only thing I grabbed to put in purse was a box of sesame Melba crackers and 2 sticks of fat free string cheese and big bottle of water! The doctor wanted him to stay overnight in case it was a sign of a heart attack & they wanted to do more testing on him for other stuff. So I stayed with him until he settled in a room & ate dinner. The nurse kept thanking for being there to translate…

I was planning to workout at 10:00PM after dinner. But without knowing, I fell asleep on the couch because I was so exhausted being at the hospital the whole day. hubby had to wake me up to go to bed… by that time it was already 12AM!! Ugh…

Wednesday: 10/3/12

I took off work today so I can go back to check up on dad & talk to the doctor about his condition. I’m frustrated at myself that I didn’t workout last night when I’m just starting out… But hey, things happen right?... That’s just life… If plan A doesn’t work … I got to find Plan B because it’s no use getting frustrated and not do anything about it. So having said that… I will workout tonight continue with workout #2. I will also workout on Sunday which was supposed to be rest day but since I rested last night… I will make it up with Sunday. By next week, I will be on track with the days of working out. Since I have a bit of time for myself before I go to the hospital, I just finished with a 15mins of stretch and now I will cook and pack meals… In case I don’t come home for lunch…

8:00AM – Stretch (15mins)
8:30AM - Egg whites, mushrooms, tomatoes, whole grain flaxseed tortilla wrap, coffee
11:30AM – Brown rice 1/2c, grilled chicken, spinach
3:00PM – Meal replacement
(Will update meals later)

Heart attacks can often be precipitated by a pain in the left Arm, usually within 48 hours of the main attack.

Hopefully your father will be alright and with someone like you there for him, that will only serve to make his experience a little more bearable.

Be strong and GOOD LUCK, because you're a wonderful person and when these sort of things happen, I know you'll have enough of what is needed for all concerned.

12:30PM – Beef, onions, jalapeno, rice
3:00PM – Ice coffee
7:00PM – Sashimi (raw fish) usually I’ll have sushi rolls but I have to try to limit carbs so I got sashimi with miso soup & green salad

Sunday: 10/7/12
9:00AM – Protein shake
9:30AM – Sanity workout #6 - Plyometric Cardio Circuit
11:30AM – Sticky rice, grilled fish balls, pork chop, side salad, coffee
3:00PM – ½ Whole grain pita sandwich - roasted beef, avocado, fresh spinach, eggplant hummus
7:00PM – Lean turkey paddy, Stir fried asparagus, mushrooms & tofu

hubby surprised me with 2 gifts.
1st – Cinderella: 3 - movie jewelry box collection. (Yes, I’m a total Cinderella fan!?!?! – Why? I have no idea… Besides Japanese animes/comics, I do enjoy a little Cinderella!)
2nd – A trip to L.A – Disneyland! – In 2 weeks… He already booked the hotel and stuff… … BUT… WHYYYYY NOWWWWWWWW!!!! Don’t get me wrong, of course I’m happy getting a surprise trip. However, I’m on a healthy diet and I’m planning to work out EVERY day! He remembered last year, I mentioned something about Disneyland fear fest after our friends went and they had a good time. So he wanted to take me this year for a quick weekend trip. I kindly accepted his gift and now I have to think of plan B. I guess I can use this as a challenge of being healthy as much as I can while on vacation? Lucky me it’s only a weekend so… I think I’ll be OK. All I need to remind myself is empty calories and NOT drink so much alcohol... but a glass of red wine should be fine… right?

Your right it's only a weekend. It sounds like a lot of fun actually!! i wish i was closer to disney world or disney land. :) Just have fun and do what you can to eat healthy?! might be hard on a halloween activity? I've heard disney parks are really expensive so maybe that will help, (you will think this is a rip off no thanks! )
