Where is a good place to find a fitness trainer?

The best thing to do is do a local google search of your area. Good training companies should have a website so take a look there and see what you find.

Thanks for that suggestion.
I'm more interested in an independent trainer, not neccessarily from a company.
Any suggestions as to where I might post to a fitness-targeted high traffic site online, or something like that, would be helpful.
A fitness or fitness trainer marketplace kind-of-spot?

Don't mean to plug... but a website was created just for this reason. http://www.marinofit.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is an online personal training website. The workouts are never the same with reps weight etc and a HD video for each exercise. It has 3 programs LIFE, for maintenance FIRE, for weight loss and IRON, for those who want to build muscle. Troy Polomalu, Tyson Chandler, BJ PENN, Jamie Lee (Miss Galaxy 2012) etc all have been doing the program for many years. Dr Barry Sears is doing the nutrition program. Just go to a local gym.

You can go to your nearest gym and try one of the trainers. Most of the gyms have in-house fitness trainers.
