Sorry to hear that Tina. But so proud of you for how you are handling it. It is a tough thing, but like you said finding the strength inside is what it takes to overcome - and you have all of that and more inside of you. I like the idea of the word "strength" for a tattoo - what an empowering word!
And, yes, one day you will find the right one, who will love you for who you are, supports you in everything you do, and will share those same goals with you and help you achieve them together.
i have to say i am very proud of myself. i have not fallen into emotional eatting at all this week!!!!
also today, i have signed up for some more 5ks and i am looking for a runners group to join! i realized how much legs have been shaping up!!! spending time on focusing on myself and kicking own . lol!!!!

YES, you have not given up on yourself and when a person still believe, there is hope, promise and potential to be found.
You are worth so much to this world, that giving up on yourself would have been been a ridiculous act and you deserve better from life than to be a second or even third rater.
Keep on pushing and keep on believing Christina, because you're amazing and I'm really proud of you .
So in class I showed kickboxing teacher pic of me at heaviest and she looked at me and said omg. And then the other girls ran up and they couldn't believe the difference. I may not be at target weight but damn it I sure as Hell kicked to get where I am now and couldn't be more proud! Can't wait to loose more to show off! lol
hey everyone! i know it has been quite some time since i have made a post. i have had quite some changes and events goin on in life right now. so far i have started a new job about three weeks ago i was promoted! so i have been learning a new job while studying for finals! needless to say head was about to explode!!!! since i have been promoted i have been upgraded to the other building which is across the street from old one which i enjoy greatly. its not just the job in itself that's better and more challenging, but the fact i walk more! i take the the 5th floor in the parking garage stairs in the am and the afternoon, i also walk the stairs from the 6th floor when i leave for the day. plus, job i actually get up off behind multiple times to walk to the other side of your suite. thank god because i couldn't take it anymore with what i use to do.
also, i have been finally getting run on baby!!!! been going to the local park and this year i am actually doing the entire park! last year i could only do half! i am still improving and today i sprinted to car and couldn't believe how incredibly fast i had gone!!!!! this Saturday i have first race of the year!!!!! the color run! i have also joined a local run club and will be going to first meet up with the group next Wednesday nite! i am so excited! so happy that school is finally over so that i can get back into what brought such joy to life. this is going to be a great summer!!!!
below are some pics from runs so far just for fun.
Well if you read this before the event, then I am sure you're probably not bothered about how you finish, but take a winning mentality into a race and you might surprise yourself .
GOOD LUCK but whatever happens I will always be proud of you for what you have achieved physically and this little moment is just a step on an ever rewarding road to success.
You're doing brilliantly misses, so chin up, be strong and remember you ARE worth it.
Now go kick a bit of on Saturday and do it with the strength and support of myself and no doubt others .
thank you everyone! i had a great time. unfortunately i couldn't run much because every time i looked back i lost friend so i was stuck walking with her. lol! i had a blast regardless! friend kept asking me how i wasn't sweating, how i wasn't cramping, how i wasn't tired? i said because i have been working hard at it and running on regular basis when possible. since i had that feeling from first race last year and cried on the home stretch when i realized what i accomplished then, i cant stop!
the people in front of us!
I talked to one of the employes and they had a total of 15,000 racers at this event! insane!
