exercises for bad posture and rounded shoulders?

i'm going to start doing core workouts anything else I can do?? I think with weight and working at a desk I'm developing a bad posture. do you think ab ripper would be go for it.

You might want to do some research into the Alexander technique.

Also you would just be as well to utilise normal exercises that contol posture like back, chest and shoulder exercises.

Even basic bodyweighted stuff like good mornings, vertical flyes, shrugs, bent over rows etc.

Something you can do anywhere is sit or stand up straight, arms hanging at sides, shrug shoulders straight up, pinch shoulders blades together (think back cleavage) and continue to squeeze as you lower your shoulders. Repeat for 15 reps. Do these a couple of times a day. As it gets easier squeeze harder, or you can try with both arms extended to sides at right angles. If you have resistance bands or cables available face pulls are also excellent, the key is to focus on the movement not on extra weight.

i'm going to try this boss and ultimate hlth. Both chest and back exercises and what ultimate hlth suggested. :)

are face pulls pull ups with the resistance band. i am doing that.

The way i sit at desk i think doesn't help. i lean forward a lot.
