If you could start over your carrier what would you pick......

I have no fear of blood, it does not bother me at all ....I actually assis doctor doing stiches and stuff on ex....I taught it was neat..but Im 45 now and the life made that I am totally in a different branch....(working for the gov. as a desktop publisher for School Program) its ok...but I think that If I could choose I would do something more challenging....
I think i would either be a recreational therapist or a physical therapist or occupational therapist. They make good money and they seem to really enjoy their work!

its a tough call that really only you can decide. I don't think i would if i were you but i'm a play it safe kind of girl. Pensions are nice to have. but it sucks that you have to be in a job you don't care for either for the next 10 years.
I think MOST people feel the way you do though. Stuck in jobs they don't like!

Yep....that right...well I will stick to it I guess....10 more years might go quick who know....lol
Hmmm, chef, nutritionist, personal trainer, personal private security (body guard), or military in motor pool or military police or officer training program.
I just wish counselors were better at their jobs to help students choose a career they are happy with rather than money based and had a wider base of knowledge of careers out there!

I remember a TV comic saying once, that when he was around 15 / 16, people were given careers advice and the careers advisor asked what kind of things he like ddoing and he said he quite liked swimming.
The careers advisor then said he should consider the Navy.
Needless to say he never signed up.
I think the only thing worse would be telling a teenage girl who used to like skipping, she might like a career in the circus.
i think a lot of times it depends on who you know for a lot of good jobs. probably depends on the industry to a point. some jobs are just obtained though through hard work.
