Beginners guide to dieting?

Post by skadush_fitness »

Hi, I just started hitting the gym. main focus is abs. I just want to know if what is the proper diet i should do? I did a research in google and some say like I should break down meal for 5. I dont know about the calorie stuff and math like in some website so im just wondering if this diet is okay

Meal1: egg the oats
Meal2: bread with egg
Meal3: Rice and meat
Meal4: just a coffee and a little cookies
Meal5: a little rice and a meat(really depends)

Is that diet okay?
Please help

(That's fine)

Meal2: bread with egg

(You could amend that by including foods which make up full or partial snacks, so things like microwave baked beans, soup and rice dishes, nuts, peanuts, flax seeds, low sugar yoghurt, oat granolas, vegetables like pineapple, celery sticks and raw carrot / sticks, bread, sandwiches, ham, beef, turkey or chicken from a packet, low fat cheese, pre-boiled eggs, fruits including cucumber and tomato.)

Meal3: Rice and meat

(Fine)

Meal4: just a coffee and a little cookies

(Forget the coffee and utilise the list of snack options above)

Just make sure when you eat rice you don't go overboard regarding the starchy carbs and with meals like that you can also include things like mushrooms, grains like corn, legumes like lentils, peas and beans and also vegetables.
