Best way to workout!
I found an article that suggested splitting workouts for maximum weight loss. Their explanation actually made a lot of sense. Have you tried it? Do you think it's necessary to split workouts?
Re: Best way to workout!
I like doing both Full body workout and splitting it. I like to change it from time to time. When I did full body workout, I work out only 3 days and did cardio every other day when I’m not doing weights. But when I did split, I worked out 4 days; 2 days for upper and 2 days for lower and I did cardio the same day after weights. Both worked for me but I like full body workout better because I like to weights for all muscle same day instead of just upper or lower... what if I miss a day? I know lots of people who likes to split because they can focus on cartain muscles.
For weight loss, I perfer doing full body workout 3 times a week. By doing full body, I workout all muscle group (Start from large muscles to smaller muscles)On the days I’m NOT doing weights… I can focus on cardio; best to do is HIIT (High-intensity interval training)
Good Luck!

What was the article referring to exactly, you mean like 3 days splits, 4 days splits, 5 days splits, or doing for example a large bodypart in the morning and a smaller one in the evening.

Hi Famoux,
Split workouts have proven results.
monday: chest & back
tuesday: arms (tris and Bis)
wednesday: shoulders
Give it a try.

They're not necessarily the best, but they are good.
Some people utilise a TBT system, where you train 3 times a week, hitting all the muscle groups with each session. I train this way these days for convenience, as I used to do a 4 day split, but it means I can now do the same volume of sets per muscle group each week, but only in 3 days not 4 and it has not caused any detriment to me at all.
